  1. Just do a search for the largest cruise agency in the USA.
  2. Do yourself a favor and use a TA for this company. Too many things can go wrong and it's a TAs job to fix it if it happens.
  3. It's doable as long as everything goes as planned. You can get off at 7am as long as the ship arrives on time. Have a driver waiting and you will "safely" be at LJR by 1100. Probably much earlier, but they have been striking and also doing highway work.
  4. Make sure after you cancel they double check their reservations, prices ,dates, and everything else as they could have issues. Be safe and check it!
  5. Yes they can see it or at least find out. Family cruise with a dozen cabins earlier this year all in YC. RS became available on day 2 so we wanted it along with 2 other couples. We all were given different prices it seems as the couple that did take it told.us the details of their payments. We were at a substantially lower cost originally as we were considered a group.
  6. The kids just started school so give it a few more days until after they learn their ABCs.
  7. Cruise line has a part of the T&C which translates to....they can do anything they want! It's called operational changes. I personally know about it. Don't get me going 😁
  8. Airport pickups London. Used them 3 times in the last 6 weeks. Private car transfers door to door. About 150 pounds.
  9. There isn't any clear Info. Your best source is here on CC. Ocean view to Balcony is easy. You max is a BA. No higher no afts as long as you book an OA. BB-OB BC-OC Best to book highest OV to get choice of Balconies available. Don't use the "M!!A" word in your posts here or they will get flagged and delayed. That word is just a word they made up basically.
  10. You probably will have them taken away but if you call they will open a case and you will get them or get to keep them. You met the terms by spending. Done deal. Since your only talking $250 worth. Use the card now and spend $250 or book a cruise 2 years away and put down $250 and cancel it several months later
  11. That's what a good lawyer is good for. Would have ended up with up some FCC. There is a contract involved. You cannot back out, they cannot either. Credit card company would have put that amount in dispute immediately.
  12. OP here. Finally read through the posts here as I have a sea day. Currently on the Regal Princess transatlantic sailing. As I originally stated the Prima is not for us. I will try to address many of the things I have read here . First is my CC user name . In the old days here I would change it constantly for the next sailing I would run a meet & greet for . When they stopped that, this is what I was stuck with 🙂 In the last 2 years I have done 7 MSC yacht club sailings, 4 NCL Haven sailings and 2 Princess suite sailings including the one I am on right now. I mentioned the intimacy of the Haven, I was not referring to the bar but the lack of an enclave. If you have sailed Prima you know it's not like the other class ships surrounding the pool area. 3 decks of Haven suites with the top deck having the amenities. The lack of stairs cut back on our exercise that we forced ourselves to do. Our sailing was to a cold climate which made the use of outdoor amenities not feasible. They did not even uncover the loungers. My mention of no grill was a throw back to the old days of something I wish they had when they would do grill days on the pool deck. MSC does have food service on the pool deck but no grill days. Entertainment....I have posted a pic here. If you look at it we had a 14 night cruise but that's all for entertainment with a repeat so others can see. As far as being in the Haven, I am not lining up 45 minutes prior for anything. I think that's stupid for the price versus other accommodations. Is it so hard to get a number of those who want to attend and reserve a few rows? But just my opinion. Donna Summer show I mentioned one singer. I was referring to past shows on other ships that have up to 4 singers at once. We walked out of the show after 10 minutes due to it not being what "we" liked . I know the show was through the years. Having music shows in the Tiny Sid Norman is a joke for those that have sailed Prima. I would be interested in knowing if anyone actually liked that especially having to line up a half hour early . A ship not having a regular dance floor is again something "we" don't care for. MSC has at least one plus one in Yacht club. Princess has it's Piazza which has been packed with Ballroom dancers each evening. Food availability on this class of ship for Haven guests is almost non existent. Even on Princess right now we have a Concierge lounge with food and snacks 24 hours a day. Even a happy hour from 5-7. I took a look at the buffet cluster and the food court area and both were packed area we did not want to deal with . Getting dinner in our cabin was too much effort apparently as well as getting other items in a timely manner after we woke up. I am not filling out a card the night before as I don't know what time I am getting up. What good is a butler if you can't bring a pot of coffee when I call? Because they are just room stewards with a title to make everyone feel important. Like someone who is a sandwich artist??? They work at Subway. Lol. My nephew works there and that is what he is called. On this ship being in Haven had no real perks. Even my suite on Princess right now is much nicer. I thought my Encore suite was nicer as well. Everyone has different likes and dislikes, needs, wants, and wishes. This class of ship is not ours but we love the others not just on NCL but other lines.
  13. Have you been on the Prima? The bar layout is sideways not like the other Haven's
  14. Donna summer was primarily 1 person singing. Just a singing show. Many walked out. Did not seem to be like prior descriptions of it. Syds was 2 separate shows and I am not waiting all that time. Hold it in the big theater as it was empty and closed half the time. This was a 14 night cruise. Same comedian all cruise. Multiple shows were the same leaving one without something to do that night . Food ,water, juice, coffee was available on Encore Haven from early morning till wee hours of the morning . Getting coffee on this ship was a 15 minute ordeal. Even grabbing something quick for breakfast was not easy as you had to be seated in the restaurant. No outdoor grill for burgers or such. Southampton had no Haven preboard line. Wasn't until you made it upstairs that there was an area. We had multiple Gangway in almost all ports.
  15. My wife and I just got off a 14 night Iceland and Norway cruise. We sailed in the Haven and this was my 64th cruise. Will never sail this class of ship again. So many things are just wrong. This is a warm water ship. Useless out here in Europe. The main theater holds a little over 600 people yet the ship holds 3200. So reservations are needed for stuff, others it's standing room only. There is no dance floor yet music everywhere. They offer dance lessons on a carpeted area. If you Ballroom, forget it. Other shows are held in two places. The improv or the Sid Normans. Packed!! Need to line up a half hour early to get a seat. No shows with dancers or a cast. Haven Holds 350 so no intimate setting. No stairs, yes no stairs only 2 elevators. No grill No food or snacks 20 hours a day. Bar seats 12 for 350 people. No reserved theater seating. You must line up 45 minutes before for the concierge to take you in. No Haven boarding line. No Haven Gangway at ports Other than the setting it's no different than the rest of the ship. Restaurant menu does not change. Cruise was good, food was good but it's not our cup of tea Haven wise. We will definitely go back to the Breakaway class as we think it's a much better setup for us.
  16. It's been two weeks and not a single person has reported that they won a bid into Haven after using points from an inside to Balcony or Ocean view to Balcony the conventional way. (Moving the needle) This makes it appear that what you paid originally has bearing on bidding.
  17. Correct. You also may not be able to upgrade as there technically are no balcony cabins. But May is far off so just book an IA or OA and keep calling world points pretending you don't know about the Balcony thing . People will cancel
  18. Yes that's correct. You should always book the highest category like "A". That way you have a larger pool of rooms . In your case that is the problem. You booked the lowest and there are no lowest to cross to Change your booking to an IA or IB and try again
  19. Onboard right now. It's at the bottom the NCL app as I scrolled thru
  20. When the cycle closes. Just for clarification....your charge reads NCL?
  21. Not everyone but your on the "if someone cancels just before sail away list" Currently on Prima and I got 2 I did not win an upgrade emails and 3 my bid is still being considered emails.
  22. Yes. Also can call NCL, book, call WP, then give to TA
  23. I have had zero luck with MSC using a travel router. Only hotspotting. The issue I found was that it locks onto one device and my router cannot lock on as that device as a host. You may have a better router than mine if it can act as host. If it had its own address you are good to go.
