  1. I always fill out the special needs form requesting an extension cord and the distilled water. About 50% of the time the request is fulfilled when we come aboard. If it isn't just ask your cabin steward.
  2. I'd expect a better deal. I just saw my Harmony cruise drop from bouncing between 77.99 and 72.99 unexpectedly drop to 67.99
  3. I opened this thread, expecting to read about people throwing tea in the Boston harbor
  4. I'm like @GetToLivin and have done it once. I'm not sure of the sq footage difference but It seemed to me to be larger than a typical interior. I felt like a balcony cabin without the balcony. DW sat in the little cove area and watched the shenanigans down below.
  5. Yes, they do have Black Friday sales. The forth of July sale actually dropped two of my DBP to the lowest I had seen them, to 67.99. Previously it had bounced back and forth between 77.99 and 72.99.
  6. You could go with 2 daybeds. That's still come out cheaper than a cabana
  7. I'm not sure that that is true. I have scored deals Black Friday for the last 5 years or so on the DBP. On my Harmony cruises coming up this December. The priced has bounced between 75.99 and 70.99 on sale. On the July 4th sale it dropped to 67.99 for the first time since I have been tracking it, beginning in Feb of this year. So I would say that some sales are real sales others are just marketing. 3 dollars a day isn't massive but $21pp in my pocket is better than $21pp in theirs.
  8. Your concierge will reach out to you about a week before your cruise. You can just reply to his or her email with your requests for dining. They'll get it all set up before you arrive. As far as prioritizing restaurants. I'd do Chops and Jamies and then decide about Hooked or Izumi based on your preference for the evening meal. I don't like sushi so that is an easy call for me but you might be different. Also, Jamies will likely be available on Embarkation day so I'd plan for that on that day. Maybe plan Chops for dinner that night. The next day is a sea day and Chops will be open for lunch. I'd have a reservation made for you on that day. You probably won't need it. I've been able to just walk in at lunch but it won't hurt to have the concierge book both your lunches anyways. Your next day is a Ensenada so I'd plan for Playmakers for lunch. They open at 12 on on day three and you have $20 credit pppd with them. $20 will get you lots of food. Their burgers are excellent and the their onion rings are very very good. I'd skip Johnny rockets. I'm not a fan of their burgers. I think Playmakers are much much better.
  9. I'm not interested in cruising with anyone who I have to convince to cruise.
  10. Here is an aft balcony view on deck 10 I'm willing to pay a premium for this obstructed view. Plus a double depth balcony...
  11. I do what a previous poster indicated. I just leave them in the plastic I get them back in from the cleaners. At home, I typically have my collared shirts laundered so they are generally ready to go and I'll always have my suit freshly dry cleaned before a cruise. Leaving them in the plastic makes a big difference in how they look coming out of the suitcase. However, if need be and your clothes are clean the pressing only isn't that expensive and you don't have to mess with sprays or sneaking steamers onto the ship. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/laundry-service-price-list.pdf
  12. Inside on deck 8... I'd hate being down on deck 2. The cabin configuration and size will be the same minus the window.
  13. The tenderloin is my favorite MDR meal!. Sadly, the creme brûlée is bad on every ship. I love it CB but have given up ordering it onboard.
  14. 🤯 You are a hearty soul I'm good for 500 miles a day max... That'd take me three days.
  15. Of course as you were posting this l looked at the Harmony suite lounge on the app and no menu showed. So as usual it is YMMV...
  16. The app doesn't show a menu for the suite lounge. Just assume any beer, wine and similar is available. 11-11. Any drink with spirits you can get 5-8
  17. A free sailing would be great but wouldn't you be messed up with the flights? I haven't looked at AC or WJ in quite a while. Do they have flexible change policies?
  18. IF the cruise is overbooked they will start offering people more and more incentives to change their cruise. Actually being cancelled because they are overbooked is unbelievably rare. If it was something that happened with any frequency this forum would be littered with threads "Royal cancelled my cruise!!!! 😞 "
  19. No, it is not similar. Allure is an Oasis class ship which has Coastal Kitchen and a suite lounge that offers beer and wine most of the day.
  20. I have cruises listed in mine all the way to March 2025. You can move through different cruises, if you have more than one booked by selecting "select a different cruise"
  21. Used to be Royals uk site showed more inventory. I haven't checked if that is still the case though.
  22. I'm going to miss you by a week. We get on Feb 16
