  1. MsTabbyKats, crazy question - is there Conditioner in Yacht Club cabins? I usually bring my own but if not necessary…..
  2. Hope I can - parodeejay YouTube - their names are Dee and Jay - they did a B2B on Meraviglia - if I remember correctly 4 nights on ship, not sure type of cabin but then moved to 3 nights in Yacht Club.
  3. Excited to read this thread. We have been on 10 MSC cruises from Inside to Balcony, but never Yacht Club. Happened to watch a you-tube on Interior Yacht Club experience couple weeks ago and booked March 2024 on Seashore. Now reading anything I can about Yacht Club.
  4. WendyVF, expressed this yesterday, glad you affirmed what I posted. We cruised in October and as I said we Ubered right to cruise port, luggage and all, where we were greeted by porters. We found everyone was waiting for elevators and workers had the stairs roped off but when we asked if we could take them we were told we could. Sometimes necessary to ask questions.
  5. When I googled Port of Norfolk it says the following: “When you drop off your bags before or after parking, porters are available to assist you.”
  6. Well this “everyone going to parking lot whether you have a vehicle or not” thing must be new, if it is indeed a thing. We cruised out of Norfolk in October, did Uber thing at embarkation and disembarkation.
  7. There is also a Starbucks across the street from the Port/entrance to Port so you could ask Uber/Taxi to drop you there and you can just walk across street and leave luggage with Porter and head into Entrance to Port.
  8. We took Uber to Port from a hotel and our driver was great although she had to drive beyond Port and do a U-turn and then eventually drive into a semi-circle where she dropped us as well as our luggage, worked great, she said drivers were accustomed to the traffic and directions. Also called for Uber upon disembarkation, worked fine. Certainly not our favorite Port and glad we didn’t have to park in garage off-site
  9. Yes, you leave your belongings in cabin.
  10. Official line - no liquor bought in port allowed to be taken to cabin. Unofficial line - we have not had liquor taken from us.
  11. The OP had a lot of “bad and ugly” to report. We have been on the Divina four times, latest being a B2B, enjoy the Divina, one of our favorite ships.
  12. Safe travels Steff79, nice to “meet” you.
  13. Jamman54, following along as I have in the past, Ty for all your work, Patti’s too. A couple months before January 14 became The Tribe Cruise I had booked January 21 on the Celebration. Hoping the ship can keep sailing after The Tribe disembarks - yikes!
  14. Steff79, look forward to your daily adventures.
  15. All floors? I do not believe so. Google “MSC Meraviglia deck plans” and look at Deck 14 and you will see staircase. Seldom used, very nice views as it is outside, you may come across a crew member taking a break out there.
  16. Walk to end of hallway and on each side (sort of around corner) there is a doorway that leads you to outside stairway that takes you to deck 15.
  17. Me again: $196 per person for non alcoholic package $72 per person for one device So run a couple examples comparing the basic price and adding above two items after the fact AND price that includes easy plus and internet. Have been on 10+ MSC cruises, thoroughly enjoy.
  18. When you do an online search you will see a “basic” price and a price that includes Easy Plus Beverages and Internet. To my knowledge they do not offer a package that combines nonalcoholic beverages and internet. For that combination your best choice would be the “basic” price l and add nonalcoholic package and internet separately. I don’t think you can see those prices unless you have a cruise booked. I do so give me a few minutes to look it up and see what I can find. Then you could compare both ways. Make sense? Oh yes, Ocean Cay could not be better.
  19. But a Diamond member gets two meals per cabin, correct? If “roommate” is not Diamond, are both are comped? I suppose I am asking if roommate needs to be a spouse.
  20. Only time will tell if current round goes seven games. Leafs fans?
  21. Agree with Saint Greg, go in with low expectations, then be pleasantly surprised if they have it on, our experiences on various ships during Stanley Cup Playoffs have been “hit or miss.” (Currently 4-2 Panthers with 2:49 left - yikes.)
  22. Love “tea time!” And Steff79, your English is great.
  23. Starboard, even numbered cabins.
  24. Thank you for taking time from your cruise vacation to answer questions. So helpful.
  25. Hello Steff79, does Seashore use wrist bands or room key cards in Yacht Club, and can you choose what you prefer?
