  1. How far out until the cruise are you? If you're within a certain time frame, you can present a positive test along with a Certificate Of Recovery (Celebrity should have this form on their site) from the doctor, you should be fine.
  2. As long as you stay within view of your items, you should be fine. If for some reason you have to walk away, say to use the bathroom, then hide them under a towel or something until you get back.
  3. Clear the entire phone's cache, that usually helps me. Also, delete anything you don't need from your phone. I volunteer for Google, usually when something like this happens it's because of memory issues on the phone and there not being enough space. Anything like emails, photos, music, and especially videos can eat up memory. Back them up to something like Google Photos and delete them off your device. Then restart the device and see what happens.
  4. I'd try to set up reservations. I went to Jamie's Italian Grille on Anthem and it was quite busy.
  5. I was on Anthem during school break with 5,000+ passengers in April. It wasn't too bad, we didn't have a lot of long lines to wait through, with the exception of embarkation. You could tell they were short staffed, but they seemed to handle it well.
  6. Royal Caribbean appeals to a wide variety of ages, whereas some other cruise lines appeal to a very specific age group. Plus there are several perks included, including activities that can suit anyone's needs and abilities.
  7. I would think they would have Carbon Monoxide detectors built in on the cruise ship?
  8. Try on the app. I sail in a month too, and I was able to check everyone in our party in in less than 10 min, including uploading vaccination records.
  9. She thanks you. We're both originally from the Nashua area. She thanks you. She's 9 years old and is so excited she finally gets to go to Cocoa Cay after seeing it from a distance. She's my new co-host for my cruise YouTube Channel and a Special Reporter for the kids club. We're going on Enchantment and we're trying the trampoline together! She doesn't know this, but she's booked on my Anthem 2023 cruise and we're going on the Bumper Cars together. She was supposed to join me on them in April but couldn't take the cruise.
  10. Well, we told my niece today, she's coming on our next cruise! Everyone please welcome our newest Crown And Anchor" member, Sophia!
  11. Dramamine always works for us and is available either at Customer Service or the onboard pharmacy. However, I would NOT take it until it's absolutely necessary, otherwise it could cause motion sickness (counter-intuitive l, I know!)
  12. Both are decent. I had a GYT cabin on Deck 3 on Serenade and the only issue was I could hear them tying up the ship in the morning.
  13. I cruised last month on Anthem and didn't even bother uploading the pics. I just brought the originals to the terminal and they validated them there.
  14. On RC's Anthem Of The Seas in May, they tested both the kids and the B2B cruisers on Day 5 or 6 of the cruise, free of charge.
  15. They usually ask that you be out of your stateroom by 8 or 9 AM.
  16. Ok so here's one. Please keep in mind that my older sister is DEATHLY AFRAID OF HEIGHTS. We were on a cruise to Europe to celebrate my parent's 20th wedding anniversary (yes they decided to take the kids!). We went to Santorini, Greece. For those of you who don't know, Santorini is a town that literally sits on top of a volcano crater. It's so shallow that you have to tender in. There's only 3 ways to get to the town: 1.) Walk up 6,000 steps up the side of the crater 2.) Take a Gondola up the side of the crater 3.) Take the donkey up the crater My parents and I opted for the second option, while my sister opted for the donkey. When they mount you on the donkey, he already knows how to get up to the town, so they mount you on and slap him on the derriere. They also tell you not to yell at the donkey, as that will make him go faster. My sister must have missed that little detail. As she headed up the side of the crater and rounded the corners, all she could see was ocean. She started to freak out and yell at the donkey to slow down. This only made the donkey go faster! The guy behind my sister was also afraid of heights and started yelling at his donkey to slow down as well. My sister caught on to this detail (finally!) and then started yelling at the guy to stop yelling at the donkey. The guy yelled back at my sister telling her to stop yelling at him to stop yelling at the donkey. This only made both donkeys go faster, so now they're racing each other up the crater! Needless to say, she took the Gondola back down!
  17. I'd check with the cruise line, they usually offer shore excursions there. However, some may not allow you to book them until your sail date is closer. Royal, for example, wouldn't let me book a zipline until a week ago and I'm due to sail with them next month.
  18. I haven't seen that done in my 23+ cruises, so I'm willing to bet not.
  19. I volunteered to work in the kids club one year (I was studying to be a teacher) and I got to help the kids prepare for their Christmas Concert for the families.
  20. I would also add to the points in the article: take AGE into consideration as well. What may be interesting to an adult may not be interesting to the kiddos in your party (if you're travelling with them). My niece (9 years old), for example, would not be interested in anything that involves a trip to the casino or a shopping tour. She would, however, enjoy something like a trip to the local zoo or going to NASA (we did that with her in 2020 and she still talks about how much she loved it).
  21. I sailed in April, loved all the shows, except for "Spectra's Cabaret". The food was excellent.
