  1. The problem with cruise cash is "use it or lose it". With the gift cards, you can apply them onboard , as needed. You can pay off your cruise and prepay items with them. You cannot put them on your account ahead of time, but it's quite simple to do once you are on the ship (via guest services or the kiosks). There's no limit, as far as I know. We always use them to pay our S and S expenses.
  2. Finally! After 2 emails to stockperks and 2 emails to Carnival, it went through. I was able to click the "redeem " button this morning. Now I wait to see if it shows up. I also sent a message via the "contact us", located on the profile page of the app. Someone else suggested that. I don't know what finally worked, but I'm thankful that it did. It took 10 days, in all.

After having problems with the app (as listed above), and receiving no solution from stockperks, I emailed Carnival explaining my problem using the app, and INCLUDED all of my information (stock proof, sailing, dates, etc.) I just received an email from Carnival stating that they ONLY accept stockperks and will not accept my email request. They directed me to email stockperks 🙄🫤, which I've already done twice. So no, you can't bypass the app and email your request, according to the email I got from Carnival a few minutes ago.
  4. Same! I'm really frustrated with this. On the Princess boards, there are people experiencing the same thing. I found this out when googling the problem. 🫤
  5. I'm sure it is great for those of you who found it working. However, there seems to be a glitch for many of us. We get the email verifying our stock ownership, are directed to go in and redeem it, and the "redeem" button is gray and cannot be used. I've come across people on the Carnival and Princess boards with this experience. The app actually shows our ownership, but the ability to redeem is not functional. Frustrating!!
  6. This is exactly what I am experiencing! I have sent an email to stockperks, hoping for resolution. I immediately got an auto reply stating that they would respond within a day.

  8. @canes20, that's precisely what I've done. Perks...Carnival Corp...Carnival Cruise Line...but it won't let me click the "redeem" tab. Thanks 🥺 I do not see where to put in my cruise information. That's what I need to do, I am assuming.
  9. @cellfree, I did the same. You say you searched around a bit and came upon the page that asks for cruise information? WHERE, oh where, did you find it? I'm at a loss. Stockperks notified me to "explore and redeem perks", too, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how. 😦 I've sent an email to the stockperks address posted by @BlerkOne, so hopefully they'll answer or I'll figure it out somehow. Thanks for any help you can send me.

My husband and I wandered OSJ aimlessly, the last time we were there, but I don't think we managed to see half of the things you saw! Awesome pictures and commentary, sir!   12. The best snorkeling we've ever done was in Bonaire, with Sea Cow company (through Carnival)! In Curacao, we've booked twice with Irie Tours, and have been very satisfied. These were island tours with beach time included at the end. This is outside of Carnival, easily found online. In Aruba, we generally find a nice beach (Eagle, Palm, Surfside), but one time we did the sunset cruise through Carnival, and it was really lovely!

  14. We've done several Journeys cruises (and have another scheduled for April). We haven't done Panama Canal, though.
  15. Absolutely! I generally buy the $500 ones, when they're available, and use them to pay for the cruise and all extras, including gratuities. I use multiple cards, for certain.

  20. I'm having so much fun following the Tribe cruise "lives" and you aren't even on a plane, yet!! Loving the memes, too 😁!
  21. I wonder about the reason for this. This past summer, we never stopped walking until we reached the outside of the terminal. We were on the Horizon, but all had passports. We were in a group of 14 people traveling together, too.
  22. The cabanas at Amber Cove (ocean, poolside, and hillside are all offered) are upwards of $500. It's a little rich for my blood, but many folks book them. You can get an attendant, poolside, to set an umbrella up for about $20 per day.
