FWIW, I’ve had MVJ lockout problems today, and I had to re-enter all booking numbers (2 of them twice).

We were on. Inking river cruises last November and a week ago. We were not asked to show proof of vaccination either time. However, I still wholeheartedly support this requirement.

We just got back from a Viking river cruise. Gratuities there were 20€ pppd.

Not sure about the first paragraph, but the $200 certificates are attached to your name and all you need to do is mention you have them when booking. You don’t need the serial numbers or anything else. I use the same Viking agent, but I would guess travel agents would find out from Viking as well.

Wow! If you’re good with the Med in the summer, you can do the Med Odyssey for 2 with air in a DV2 for $9,998 before Explorers Club and any other discounts.

Hate to tell you this, but British Isles is Viking’s most popular cruise. Honestly, your chances of getting a deal are slim - meanwhile, your chances of May sailings selling out by January unfortunately are good. We’re going at the end of May and ours has been sold out over a year.

If the vouchers were used to book later than 11/30/21 (regardless of sail date), you can’t rebook, cancel and book another cruise, etc. because the CFAR feature ended.

We’re on Viking’s Tulips and Windmills. FWIW, the cruise director told us there are 171 guests, one over 90, one under 25 and the median age is 70.

Technically Short Message Service it’s the most used standard for texting. Apple’s iMessage is the format used for texting one Apple device to another Apple device, but the Apple device will also communicate with non-Apple devices via SMS.

I have ATT and exclusively used WiFi Calling for at least half a dozen Viking ocean and river cruises. Trick is keeping the iPhone in airplane mode the minute you land in a foreign airport. We get SMS texts from friends who use android phones in Europe just like we are home. One time I was making a call and the phone switched off airplane mode by itself. The call never connected, but I was charged $10 for one day. I just called ATT and they immediately removed the charge

When you “price and build”, look carefully for a blue star in the row for the sail date in question. As the footnote indicates, only those sailings get the promo. So if you don’t see the Star, not only don’t you get the upgrade, you don’t get the OBC either. Highlighting the port talks is kinda odd since on my last cruise they were at 4:30 and available on our room TVs on demand after that.

I can’t speak for other lines, but Viking does not permit the use of extension cords: I’ve been using CPAPs for close to 20 years and never had to use an extension cord on any cruise ship.

No - we used to bring our own but just use our iPhones now.

We always use Viking air with our United FF#. We get some points when flying United, Lufthansa or SAS.

Also where you are. As I understand it, in Europe the drinking age is 18 - same as Viking’s age. So I assume these trips were in the US or Canada. Am I correct?
