  1. I hope that there are some who will avoid offering a response.
  2. True! We normally arrive about 9:30 and are among the first half-dozen there. Wife and I just happened to stop immediately outside the embarkation stantion (where the line begins at the entrance door) to request our Lyft pickup after we disembarked. We began a conversation with the first couple who arrived. SMH
  3. We disembarked the Sky this past Friday in PE. The embarkation line outside the building started at 8:30 when the first couple arrived. Within 10 minutes the line was 50 people or so long. 😂
  4. Kinda what I thought. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
  5. Have you ever been on the Diamond? If so, it’s nearly exactly the same ship.
  6. As @Steelers36 said (he’s always spot on), excursions only using OBC. Thats’s the reason it’s called ONBOARD credit.
  7. Just returned yesterday from a 27 day TA on Princess and found that I lost 1.5 lbs. This has absolutely nothing to do with any extraordinary willpower but speaks directly to the decline in the quality of their food. This both in terms of quality and selection.
  8. Same with Matson Lines. But that was in the 1950s and I was just a boy. Thank heavens we all don’t have to do THAT any longer!!
  9. Classic!! Just classic!! Well done.
  10. It is “regular OBC” to begin with. Although the promotion speaks to an “excursion credit”, it is simply entered onto your folio as an OBC to spend however you wish. We’ve been down that road at least a half dozen times so far.
  11. I’m thinking the OP’s question has by now been asked and answered.
  12. You’ve not said much about interlopers on your current sailing. Hoping this means you’ve not seen any/many.
  13. First time on Seascape rapidly approaching. Is there a covered walking deck? Promenade Deck, for example. I’ve scoured the deck plans on the MSC site as well as on other independent websites and just cannot determine with 100% certainty if such a place exists.
  14. I would be interested in hearing comments on how downloads speeds compare between AT&T and the ship’s Wi-Fi. Given the fact that there are two Wi-Fi packages to choose from, this may not be an easy comparison to make.
  15. Wondering why those who find certain sights offensive continue looking.
  16. Speaking to “recent experience”, we are on the Sky right now. Southampton to PE. 27 days. (At this moment alongside at Grand Turk.) On formal nights (9 or so), we have observed all manner of dress in the MDR ranging from tux and sparkly gowns to jeans and short sleeved collared shirts. The split was fairly even but overall tended a bit toward casual over tux/sparkly. On non-formal nights, everything from shorts/tee shirts to formal wear can be found in the MDR. We are in Club/Reserve. This area tended to be a bit dressier than the main section of the MDR but yet there were jeans and short sleeved shirts throughout on both formal and non-formal nights. All of this said, you will not feel out of place regardless of your dress choice. Be comfortable however you define this.

    MAGNETS

That’s a yes for the walls. Anyone want to weigh in on the ceilings?

    MAGNETS

What about the walls and ceilings?
  19. Once it begins small what’s to prevent the flood gates from opening? The parable speaks to it beginning with the nose of the camel slipping beneath the tent. Soon the entire beast is inside the tent.
  20. AKA bullying. Seems to be generally successful for the entitled crowd.
