  1. No, you pay à la carte per item ordered. If you make a reservation separately there is no charge when you make the reservation, your SeaPass account will be charged when you finish dining.
  2. From their contacts page: Celebrity Website Assistance. 1-800-722-5941 Website Assistance Email Address: cec@celebrity.com I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a fix.
  3. Ok, I'll admit I found this line unintentionally funny. I guess I just have a sick mind.
  4. I wanted to be the first one to post that I received my June PUPs but alas there weren't any.🥲
  5. I'm sailing on Reflection on Dec. 3 — 9. I was able to make reservations for Murano with a 30% first night discount via the Cruise Planner section of the website. I was also able to make a reservation in the MDR on the second night. ( I have select anytime dining) I also purchased the Specialty Dining Trio ( two dinners and one lunch) and has been pointed out in this thread you must wait to book a specific time and date until you board the ship. Since I usually eat late, 8:30 pm or 9:00 pm that's not a problem for me since those times are usually available. If however you must eat at a specific time for health or other reasons you should skip a multi-night package and book individual reservations.
  6. I ate in Eden three times on Beyond in January, usually starting around 8:15 pm. I don't recall excessive or loud noise from the Lounge above. I had a nice conversation with a couple two tables over one night, never had a problem hearing them so it shouldn't be a problem hearing your table mate. One night while I was finishing dessert a cellist and acoustic guitarist were playing in the lounge which I enjoyed. The sound level was not a problem. I really love Eden and booked it for 5 nights on my transatlantic cruise aboard Ascent next spring.
  7. Same with me, my December 2023 cruise on Reflection was included in the 50% off sale which I took advantage of, my April transatlantic on Ascent was not included so I have no drinks package currently. If there's another good sale between now and my sail date I'll take advantage of it otherwise I'll just pay for drinks à la carte.
  8. When you look at the menus for a future cruise on a given ship you actually see the current menus being served on the current sailing for that ship. Hence, if the ship is doing a short 6 day cruise but your future cruise is a 10 day cruise you will see "Venue closed" on nights 7 - 10. If they change the menu rotation on the next cruise the menus shown on your sailing will also change. If you track the menus from previous itineraries, patterns will emerge. Menu 6 (Lobster night) usually is served on the last sea day unless that is the last full day of your sailing in which case they will then frequently serve Lobster on the penultimate night. These are generalized patterns and nothing is final until you board the ship.
  9. If you have multiple people in your party but only one person wants one of the specialty items from one of the other MDRs this is a nice option to have. I know you travel solo a lot as do I so I switch dining rooms up from night to night just to experience the different ambience of each.
  10. As a solo traveller the price difference for All Included on my 6 night cruise ranged from $679 to $981. I bought the classic beverage package for $43.99 plus gratuities per day when it went on sale recently and the Premium WiFi when it went on sale for $17.99 per day. Paying for All Included items separately: Gratuities $108.00 ($18 pppd) Classic Beverage Package $263.94 ($43.99 + 20% pppd) Premium WiFi $107.94 ($17.99 pppd) total $479.88 so Celebrity wanted to charge me $200 to $500 more to bundle than I was able to book on my own waiting for sales promos. If X had not run a 50% off sale on the Classic Beverage package I would have just paid for my drink a la carte. I originally planned to pass on WiFi and just use cellular data in Mexico and buy one day of WiFi for the last sea day if I needed to but decided the discounted WiFi was worth it. I booked a 14 day Transatlantic crossing in the spring on Ascent but X wasn't offering the 50% off beverage packages for that cruise so I'll wait for a Black Friday sale of some other sale to book that stuff.
  11. I ate at Le Voyage in January. I found the atmosphere a little stuffy. The food was Ok but I preferred the food in Eden to Le Voyage. I probably won't book it again, would rather try other venues.
  12. Take a sweater or hat and a book to leave on your chair/table when you go to the buffet so the bus people and other cruisers know you're not done with your table when you go back to get seconds or refills. Be open to talking to new people if they seem interested in talking. It's only a brief conversation then judge how much further to talk from there. A smile and a positive attitude goes a long way to making for a more enjoyable trip. I've also found the crew happy to talk especially if it's slow at the time. I've had some nice conversations with the bus people in the buffet in the late afternoon when they aren't rushing around super busy like are are at peak hours. Get to the popular shows early so you can get a decent seat, if the theater is full there are usually single seats still available that people leave as spacer between them and the next group but if the show is full take it.
  13. I ate at Eden three times and Le Voyage once on my weeklong cruise in January on Beyond. I hindsight I wish I would have skipped Le Voyage and gone elsewhere. It was ok but a little stuffy atmosphere and I preferred the food in Eden. I love, love, loved Eden, supposedly the Lobster in the lobster casserole is made from Maine lobster brought on the ship live. I have a transatlantic cruise booked on Ascent in April and look forward to eating at Eden when I'm on her.
  14. The only way I'd be interested in Coco Cay is if they added a truly adults-only section that allowed European style sunbathing or a C/O section (with adequate privacy from the family section), otherwise a hard pass.
  15. No, the taxi drivers know where to drop off the cruise ship passengers going to Canada Place. There's a huge queue of taxis outside funneling into the garage. If you wanted to be dropped off somewhere else you would probable have to request that explicitly or specify the Pan Pacific hotel. ( I just did this about a month ago)
  16. I'm not @Denise T but I did a round trip out of Vancouver on HAL Koningsdam in May. I'm also planning another HAL cruise in 2025, probably a one way Whittier to Vancouver or vice versa on HAL. I recommend sailing in or out of Vancouver over Seattle because you sail east of Vancouver Island rather than west of the island — smoother ride and better views.
  17. May I just say I'm absolutely loving this thread with all the wonderful pictures with descriptions. Thank you
  18. No, it's open to all passengers. The food is complementary. The smoothies incur a charge which is covered by the Premium Beverage Package but not the Zero-Proof Package or Classic Beverage Package.
  19. Thanks for the compressive review. I was on Beyond in January and agree with your comments regarding the ship, crew, food and entertainment. I was just blown away by the Jazz Joint show in The Club, I really enjoyed the interaction and smaller venue. I agree with you opinion regarding Le Voyage and Eden. I had booked Eden for two nights early on and enjoyed it so much I asked if they could squeeze me in for a third meal on our final evening despite being sold out. Fabulous food!
  20. Well I guess the "Full English in the MDR" is better than The Full Monty by the Pool.
  21. I stayed in a Deluxe Inside room: 11177, It was very quiet. Very little noticeable motion since it midship. I'd book it again on an Edge class ship.
  22. Let me just say "Me too" before everyone else start posting about the latest Power Up Points.
  23. If you read the Princess or Holland America Line board you will read the similar complaints you find on the X board. I sailed on Beyond in January and HAL's Koningdam in May and did extensive research on CC on both lines in preparation for each cruise. There is no such thing as the perfect cruise line. By the way, I had a wonderful time on both ships despite small deficiencies on both. That won't let me stop sailing either if I find an interesting itinerary and the value of the cruise is worth it to me.
