Hey @yhave1neWe're going this year Oct 29 - Nov 9; not sure exactly which day is Corfu as I don’t have itinerary handy. Would you say a long sleeve t-shirt layered w/lightweight rain jacket is adequate? Anything particular we need to be aware of - it's our first time to Corfu. Thank you!

We enjoyed taking the ferry to Granville Island then just go explore. There's a lot to see and do there. In the center near the bakery (a must stop to grab fresh bread snacks) is usually a band to enjoy live music.

Being on HAL, we take the ship shuttle to downtown, eat & listen to live music at Irish Times Pub, grab a Gelato at the shop next to where the return shuttle line queues.

Our port time is typically 4 hours (8pm-12) on HAL itineraries. There is a nighttime garden tour, but we've not done it as I don't think a couple hours is enough time to enjoy the gardens.

That is still true - OBC can be used for daily gratuities even though the TOS state they cannot.

We did make use of duct tape while on a Proncess cruise in the Med. Final night packing one of the latches broke so no way to securely close suitcase (full disclosure - it was my DS not mine, I have zippers). Called Cabin Steward who had her do a final check to be sure everything she wanted was in there then duct taped it shut. Suitcase made it from Barcelona to Chicago and ultimately on to DFW w/duct tape intact. I did feel a bit like I'd been adopted by the Clampetts.

@Swabia no form needed, just be sure to submit using one of the above methods (I prefer email as it's easy to do from computer & add the required shareholder statement and HAL can just respond back to the email w/confirmation). Be sure to include booking numbers in the email. 🥳

Congrats! I think the math was certainly in your favor. I have not been able to add via app or online to any of my current bookings. 2 of them, when I call in, I'm told are not eligible. Usually when I don't see a price for the HIA package (just a $), I know it's not going to let me add it.

Whichever order, just please do it so we can all leave w/o the annoying special announcements to those who didn't. 🥺

@Joanne G. glad to hear you're finally home and that "excursion " has ended. You maintained an amazingly positive outlook during some difficult situations. Here's hoping your next cruise, while exciting and adventurous, does not require the same level of self control.

Thanks for saying this. This was my experience until early this year, when one day I logged in and prices did not change. I thought surely the website had "messed up." Nope - no more unlimited casino rate discounts for me. I made several posts about my unfortunate loss of discounts, so if I were to research, I could tell you when it went away. Since then, I have only received 2 offers (that I know of) and certainly do not see reduced fairs on most itineraries. Congrats - book up while you have the "magic powers." I really believe it was my PCC (several posts about that awful relationship) b/c she mentioned one time about my low low rates & OBC, shortly after she sent me an email saying she noticed during an "audit" that I was incorrectly tied to a group and had updated my profile and removed the OBC from the associated bookings. That's when the casino rates were no longer coming up.

I see "beverage packages are non refundable" on the ones I looked at. While they don't say anything specifically about "unused portions" being non refundable, I believe the intent is for any amount re the card is non refundable. It would be better if the card could be used until value depleted.

I see the price drop when I click on the category as @rodndonna mentioned. While I like a bargain and appreciate them being offered, I'd prefer a heads up email as I'm sure I've missed an opportunity to go somewhere I would really like to go because I didn't know to look. I don't have time to click through all their cruises. Simply, if they're going to create a list and load it to select Mariner numbers, just one more step to notify those Mariners would be nice. I think they're speaking $$ on the table by not.

Oh no - the rib eye is my go-to. That and Candied Bacon are the only reason I go to PG; well and because DH goes for the lobster and doesn't like to dine alone. He will not be happy if he can't get lobster. I do hope they're able to resolve the supply issues (not their fault, but sadden us).

I've asked DH that question several times during each of our last 3 cruises. He just refuses to eat PG steak in MDR saying food will not be hot and steaks won't be as good.

Like a lot of places, we're just hot, dry, and miserable. I am interested, though, in how things are for our neighbors to the north - I've heard there's now some flooding in places after the fires...? Are the fires all out? Hope everyone is safe and conditions continue to improve.
