  1. I was referring to the extra coffee drink because of too many diamonds/diamond plus/Pinnacle members not a special circumstance when the machine is broken. m
  2. No ships are providing an actual voucher that you have to use. Everything regarding drinks/extra coffee drink is loaded onto your sea pass card. If your ship capacity warrants the extra coffee benefit, there will be a card explaining the benefit in your cabin. The card is for informational purposes only it is not necessary, nor can I be used for a drink. The coffee benefit is a daily benefit that may be used once per day any time during the day. m
  3. It is not the same as my time dining. For open seating, no one has any reservation or any specific table. You can arrive in the dining room at any time during the open seating timeframe. You just wait your turn in line, they seat you. It is mainly used for breakfast and lunch. An exception- A few years ago, we had an overnight in Venice. So many people were having dinner off the ship, they just did an open seating, in one level of the dining room , for that one dinner. m
  4. You will get credit for your cruise because you paid $500. I don’t understand the pricing part of your question. m
  5. Perhaps you were denied using the BOGO at lunch because the benefit is for dinner/evening meal. Clearly noted dinner with the words “dinner” and “night” on the benefits list. m
  6. I thought I read that Wonder was already a test ship. We have a dining package for a January cruise but can’t figure out how to pre book times. Anyone know? m
  7. We had the extra coffee coupon on the Jewel transatlantic. Basically, it was any of the non-alcoholic specialty coffees at Café latitudes. You could have a pump of flavor, cappuccino/espresso/latte, etc. you could use it for iced coffee as well I don’t know if it could be used for double espresso shots m
  8. I don’t think they have an open night/venue for a headliner. The app shows the current sailing so you can look at the entertainment schedule for a 4 night. At the end of the week you’ll be able to check for the three nights as well. I have an upcoming 4/3 night booked and entertainment has opened. There was n headliner option listed. Every night was taken up with some type of entertainment experience. m
  9. Allure will likely not have headliners. The main theater will be used for Mamma Mia, Blue Planet, and often a comedian show. Cruises are only 3 or 4 nights repeated, and likely won’t need, have theater space or an open evening for a headliner. m
  10. Surprised that it is still $90. I think that was the price pre-Covid and drinks were not as expensive as they are today.
  11. When “significant others” were awarded matching status, it was basically for single gender couples who could not get married. It is so overused now as everyone puts their “date of the month” on their status. These casual acquaintances don’t last, but the diamond/diamond plus status does. m
  12. I don’t question that your friend and neighbor sent you an email stating that they were locked out of the lounge the entire cruise. What I do question, is that of all the tens of thousands of diamond members on all the 20 + ships they are the only ones who had no access for the entire cruise. Something doesn’t add up. Quite frankly, if diamond members were fully excluded from the crown lounge, it would be all over this page as well as other social media m
  13. So funny! But, only for those on the new ships. Once a ding, he/she can park anywhere. 🚢🚗 M
  14. I don't believe the ship captain, or any accountant can pick his/her parking spot at a port. M
  15. For a couple of cruises, we ordered the beach tote (the blue and white stripe) as one of our 3 gifts. It did not count as 2. I’ve never heard of any selection that counted as 2 gifts (yet). m
  16. Look to ebay for lots of logo items. Most, if not all, were free to the cruiser. Hats, T's, tote bags towels pins and much more. Many items from the Presidents cruise as well. My favorite is the $39.99 President's cruise cowboy hat. That seller has numerous items for sale and looks to be financing his/her next President's cruise. 😀 M
  17. Yes - the luggage tags default to the lowest C&A status. BTW - the status on the tag is meaningless. No one sees it and it doesn't mean anything. The bags are not sorted by status, and it will not arrive any sooner. You will receive all your D benefits and amenities. It seems you are aware that your cabin mate does not receive any of the D benefits. Enjoy the cruise. M
  18. WOW - Bad luck for them. They get the one of the thousands of RCCL waiters for the past 25 years who wants to charge a corkage fee! Never heard of this happening. I wonder he was telling them there was a fee, but he will "waive it' with hopes of getting a better tip. Regardless, glad you were able to help them out. M
  19. And to make to more confusing, many YEARS AGO ( 20 or more), there actually were welcome aboard gifts provided to passengers. I don't recall if it was all returning passengers, or those at a certain level. Items such as toiletry bags, photo frames, tote bags, fanny packs (cross body bags😀), hats, then there were snack baskets/boxes. It was not something one could select but a standard gift given to all eligible. Some used to complain about the gift (didn't want what was the current gift, didn't like it etc.) so RCCL got rid of the complaining by eliminating all the welcome gifts. Is this something you recall? M
  20. Enjoy your upcoming Pinnacle benefits! You may find many of your Master Benefits to be more beneficial than your Pinnacle benefits. When it comes to CK/Suite lounge you will never have to worry. Masters have full access. General rules are that the ship specific $25 dining voucher cannot be combined with the BOGO. And I took a look... 9 cruises at the conversation in 2011 was 76 points, just 4 points away from Diamond. So just one cruise or 4 points either way. M
  21. Thank you - some have confusion about the welcome aboard beverages (now just a few bottles of water) and the C&A tier amenity list. M
  22. The above is reality and standard practice. OP - if you are changed, it would be rare and noteworthily to post to let others know. M
  23. People were referring to a specific Cruise Critic invitation only meet and mingle that used to be held on ships pre-Covid. It was usually hosted by a Royal Caribbean staff, had some light refreshments (mostly nonalcoholic), and some door prizes. It was away for the people on the cruise critic page to get to meet one another. It had nothing to do with any type of crown and anchor level and was open to all of those who registered. The event has not been reinstated since the return to sailing several years ago. What you described seems to be some sort of crown and anchor party. Two different events. M
