  1. Yes, IF you don’t mind that your luggage gets pulled and sent to security. If you don’t mind that after waiting all afternoon for your luggage, you go to security, waste a hour and have to wait in line for luggage inspection. If you don’t mind that security opens your luggage and looks through it. If you don’t mind, but they take the bottle, and return it to you in the last evening. If you don’t mind if potentially the bottle breaks, and runs all over your clothes. …..Other than that, you’ll be fine. I recall a time when no wine was allowed to be brought on board. I’m thrilled that we are allowed to bring one bottle each. I suspect if there’s lots of abuse, that the wine allowance could discontinued. m
  2. Thx. is it new information? I don’t ever recall guest Internet (at least not on barefoot beach) on Labadee. Also, I don’t ever recall being able to simply leave the compound. To me the information is more of a reminder than a change. Perhaps others have a different experience. m
  3. Within the past year. I'll let them know for next time. Thanks M
  4. Thx. Good to know. Family members missed out as they were unaware of the internet benefit for kids. m
  5. I don’t believe youth benefits include internet. Both you and your wife will receive one day (consecutive 24 hours) each. You can check with the internet desk on board for activation assistance. m
  6. Whole lobster/lobster tails at Hooked are only available for dinner. M
  7. What OCSCMike said! If kids couldn't be where alcohol is served, they would have to shut down the ship. Just about everywhere serves alcohol. OP - Yes - Playmakers is family friendly, There are even some games in there. I recall one playmakers has arcade games as well. Have fun M
  8. They offer a variety of perks to suite guests, high-level cruisers and those who purchase VIP benefits with The Key program. Nothing wrong with that. Currently there are all kinds of areas/benefits only for those who purchase expensive accommodations, cruise a lot or buy the VIP Key program. (Reserved seating in theaters, special restaurants or special place for some meals, private flowrider times, Suite or Crown lounge access, boarding day lunch, free drinks, free internet, gifts, and the list goes on and on) M
  9. As noted, the cake should be ordered in advance. However, they will likely write happy anniversary on the plate and put a candle in a standard restaurant dessert. You will need to tell them it is your anniversary. Even though you may have specified it on the booking, the restaurant has no idea. best wishes.
  10. Our RCCL luggage is often in the hall, but often at the other end of the ship, or the other side of the ship! Hardly anywhere near our cabin. M
  11. Years ago (Many years ago) some concierges would be on the pier area and look in the return line for their concierge/suite guests to pull them out of line for earlier return to the ship. I specifically recall this practice in the Cayman Islands. Yet, another memory of past cruising. M
  12. Your cabin attendant was incorrect. He/she is responsible for providing the products to you. m
  13. Have you looked at a 7-night sailing rather than a 3N/4N b2b? M
  14. Another vote for B2B on Utopia. If you can't get the same cabin, moving cabins isn't too bad. Of course, staying in the same cabin is preferable. Happy Anniversary M
  15. The full entertainment schedule will be available when you board. There will be entertainment. Use the app and search for a current Odyssey sailing to get an idea of entertainment. M
  16. Many people do dress up for formal (or dress your best) nights. Some, just as in the past, will be much more casual, including shorts and t shirts. The air temperature is OK for me but the ocean is a bit too cold. Unless I'm in the Southern Caribbean, I often don't book snorkeling excursions in the winter. Yes - you should be able to book shows for Oaiss Class in advance. M
  17. In paper NO, BUT..... You have described a booking method that others have used. In your case it is doubtful the two family members (the wife and one child) in a standard cabin will be denied Coastal Kitchen dining, theater seating, drinks in the suite lounge, priority boarding etc associated with the suite and provided to the husband and other 3 children. I've never heard of an instance (here or in other social media sites) where the family was not provided benefits as a whole. I guess Royal didn't expect this issue to come up or come up often. In reality, they could tell you that if you want to do things together (dine, venue seating, etc) , then you have to give up the suite benefits. doubtful M
  18. We've done dozens of B2B's. We've always ( in the group) had to be escorted off to customs and then escorted right back on. Except for a few months when we had the return to sailing, we've always been allowed to go back to our cabin, or to the new cabin. (During the return to sailing, they were reportedly doing extensive cleaning to the hallways. ) A few times the new cabin is not ready, so we vacate and enjoy other areas of the ship for a while. Generally, cabin attendant will clean the cabins of B2B first, but occasionally there is an attendant who likes to clean the cabins in a particular order. They will give you an "in Transit" card in case you are questioned by staff. M
  19. Everyone starts with just one bar of soap, it is not a solo cruiser thing. The cabin attendant will, of course, provided more. M
  20. I knew someone would bring up the $18 glitch. That really doesn't help your fellow passenger evaluate the drink package price. They asked a reasonable question with hopes of receiving helpful info. M
  21. It is correct. We recently returned from 17 days on Jewel. No repeat menus but a few repeat items. M
  22. I would hope no one lets loose and parties a little harder in the solarium, as I believe it is intended to be a quieter place. What in the world would someone do in a public pool area that is so extreme that it can't be done in front of children. Yikes. M
  23. Casinos are on one floor per ship but may be on different floors on different ships. Oasis class ships have removed the Jazz club and put in a SMALL non smoking casino. M
  24. Thanks and thanks to Bob. His legacy lives on. I did a CC search with no usable results M
