  1. If all drinks go to $15, then the drink package will be changed. If only some drinks go to $15 (some drinks in the Bamboo Room, and some wines) then you’ll have to pay extra for those over $14.
  2. Price varies. For one of my upcoming cruises in October (we are the only ship at Coco cay that day) it is $159.99. Cruise in early December it is $188.99. For my late January cruise January 2024 it is $235.99 per person. It includes a nice lunch, private pool, loungers. Drinks are extra. M
  3. FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH Buffet - no reservations needed It is a small version of windjammer. many of the same food items. When it was first introduced, it had healthier options, but has morphed into a small windjammer. FOR DINNER - The menu on the app is basically accurate. Reservations suggested. The only ship I recall menu and servers was years ago on Oasis. Tapas/salad buffet style and also table service. Harmony, Symphony and Wonder have the same type of menu items, but they are all self-serve. I see from above post that on Oasis it is apparently all buffet as well. The items, including the appetizers are mediterranean inspired lamb, fish and chicken. M
  4. I always check in for every back to back. (Or B3B) cruise. Otherwise, how would they know how to charge your sea pass expenses? Regarding the times, I always choose the late time-slot, as it is not relevant, and I leave the earlier slots open for people who are actually trying to get on the ship. m
  5. Way too many diamond, diamond plus, and Pinnacle these days to set aside that diamond up area for breakfast. On a recent jewel of the seas cruise we had 1100 diamond, diamond plus and Pinnacle out of 2300 passengers. Almost half the ship. m
  6. Enjoy your new benefits. I just came off a cruise on Jewel, and the lounge coffee machine made some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. As good as (sometimes better) than the coffee shop. m
  7. We’ve done New Year’s Eve and/or Christmas cruises 8 times and every one had an upgraded MDR holiday menu on the special nights. HAVE FUN. M
  8. Agree about the duo in centrum. They were terrific. m
  9. Wow - that was interesting! People come up with the most unusual ideas. Seriously, didn't mind reading it, even though it was 3 years old. M
  10. We've been assigned connecting cabins when booking a GTY cabin. These days connecting are often more money than non-connecting, so if I am selecting a cabin, I would never pay more for a connecting cabin unless I needed one. I've never been bothered by any noise from the other side of the wall. M
  11. Thanks for your video. We stayed away from Wonderland for years, but went recently on Wonder because we had the dining package. Some people enjoy it, but we did not. We are adventurous when it comes to dining, but we felt like the food was just too gimmicky. Not even a fan of the world dessert. We had been served one previously at an event, but between the chocolate and sauce, it was simply too sweet. i’m glad we went to try it out, but I doubt I will be back. I don’t think it mattered, but there was no mad hatter at the restaurant. I would also find that gimmicky, but it might be fun for kids. Some people rave about the restaurant, and that is terrific. One thing about cruising, there seems to always be something for everyone. m
  12. We had an arrival delay several years ago due to weather. My number one advice to anyone is to take several extra days of necessary meds with you. We couldn’t get back to Port Canaveral for 3 extra days. Some people got off at our stop in Mexico to fly home. m
  13. We’ve been in dozens of connecting cabins and I’ve never had an issue. Never heard the people next-door, because of the connecting door. Some ships have different furniture to make room for the connecting door area. For example, there might be a large chair in a connecting room versus a loveseat or couch in a non connecting room. I don’t care if the room is connecting, but lately, the connecting rooms have been more expensive than the non-connecting rooms so there would be no reason for me to book one, unless I needed it. m
  14. Regarding Izumi, were you able to use your Bogo for hibachi, sushi or either one. thx.
  15. I've read to use a Zip Lock bag inside the safe and place everything inside the bag, so nothing is loose in the safe. This was mentioned after a fire on one of the ships. M
  16. You will be billed daily gratuities to your account. You can add cash to your account at guest services. It will go against any outstanding charges, not specifically gratuities. M
  17. I'd take the Beach Club. Private beach, pool and a nice lunch, over simply a beach bed. Don't understand the draw of the beach bed. Personally, I don't like to lie flat and there are tons of free loungers and umbrellas all over Coco Cay. M
  18. Not in my experience. One voucher, one drink. M
  19. The first time we went there, we didn’t know we needed a lunch reservation. We got there about 10:00 and the earliest reservation for lunch we could get was 1:30. Worked out fine as we were flexible. m
  20. Diamond is 4, diamond plus is 5, and Pinnacle is 6. Many refer to them as diamond drinks, even though they may be eligible for 5 or 6. m
  21. Yes, you can use them any place on Coco Cay or Labadee. m
  22. I guess I'm past the age of inappropriate behavior that needs explaining. I wonder why anyone who wants to party that hard would want to sail RCCL? (a line for families or older adults) As for the pizza, at the Hideaway Beach prices I'm hearing, they better be flying it in from New York. The pizza on board is almost not worth eating, even for free. Enjoy Hideaway beach. M
  23. What am I missing? The new adult beach club with a fee seems a lot like the party pool that is already there and free. Generally, at the free pool there is loud music, lots of adults around the bar, and a party atmosphere. In fact, we generally avoid the area. Snack shack food is available for free at both locations, so the only addition at the new club is Pizza. I'm happy to stay under an umbrella at Chill Beach. M
  24. There is a suggested fancy dress on Jewel, but not enforced. We just returned from 17 nights on the Jewel. We had three formal type dress evenings. The dress was all over the spectrum from tuxedos to jeans. You can wear whatever you want to the dining room or specialty restaurants. Enjoy the cruise. m
