  1. Been a while since on Celebrity but they were also doing a continental breakfast in one of the specialty resraurants where you could order a cappuccino coffee and a mimosa or other morning type of alcoholic beverage.
  2. For $36 not worth it to me but may be to others.
  3. WJ deserts in general have always been bland to tasteless, when eating there just look for oatmeal rasin cookies to grab and go.
  4. The $125 OBC is based on your status earned by gambling to attain the MGM status and not from the tier match due to RCI match.
  5. It has been quite a few years since I have picked up Blanton's in St. M but the prices I am seeing now locally are crazy. There are plenty of decent bourbons out there to try without breaking the bank.
  6. Have a cruise this March and will most likely mask up at embarkation check in, too many people, too close together, in too small a space. Will see how it goes once on board.
  7. Isn't this program older than 25, got my first cruise points back in 1992
  8. Never had a VP though cruised with Royal many years. I have just dealt with the various call centers and generally have had just a few problems that patience seemed to resolve. YMMV.
  9. It is an older ship and even on newer ones if someone decides to use the toilet as a disposal even newer vessels can have problems.
  10. Might want to look at the roll call for this one, at lot of posts there and may actually be some news.
  11. IMHO, access to the concierge/suite lounge should be limited to those passengers that paid the appropriate fare to gain access.
  12. I usually cruise when fewer children(?)/younger folks are on board and have always been surprised at such a late curfew. I have never encountered any problem with this as I am usually asleep myself before then.
  13. Late to the show: If once a day service becomes the norm would the folks that provide this service be doing twice as many cabins per day and doubling up on daily gratuities?
  14. Did the once a day thing by choice on last cruise and works for me.
  15. Just a general cost cutting measure. On recent cruise the usual rack of lamb cutlets was replaced with lamb chops.
  16. ? The snail/mail form allows the use of a copy of the proxy. I would prefer this for online submission vs cut and paste copy of brokerage statement. Has anyone had success using the proxy copy vs brokerage statement for the online submission?
  17. Just make sure the server knows which program to charge and check your receipt.
  18. For the solo cruisers that are familiar with this, a question and or clarification. When a promo such as the 30% off all cruisers is offered does this negate the P340 benefit, are they combinable, or does the promo just reduce the value of the P340. I will be eligible for this after next cruise and just wondering if I should wait until eligible for P340 or just go ahead and book a cruise now.
  19. Buffalo Trace and Makers Mark as of a 3 weeks ago but will depend on ship.
  20. ? for the casino comp cruisers Do you also get C&A tier benefits on these cruises such as access to the appropriate lounges, laundry, and daily drink allowance outside of the casino?
  21. Too many variables. However, if booking as a solo with double points in the cheapest cabin for under $100/day, cruise fares would be about $35, 000 +gratuities and expense to get to ships. Or very much more depending on type of cabin booked.
  22. See that there is a boat load of cruises offered at their site and wondering if C&A status is recognized if booking one of these. I imagine cruise points are not granted but what about the tier benefits?
