  1. Here is one from October last year. Not sure if this is Pacific Queen or one of the Tuiras.
  2. I have a soft spot for Artania as she was my first ‘modern day’ cruise, South America in 1999 as the original Royal Princess. EM
  3. The ship is Venezia and reading some of the Live from threads that have been here might tell you this. If you go to the top I’d the Carnival boards page in the upper left you will see See posts about: and next to that Select ship. Lock on select ship and you will get a dropdown. Ox with a list of Carnival ships. Click on Venezia and it will give you a list of threads that mention her. EM
  4. Here is the info from my December cruise on Seashore. Same location on Seascape. There was a long table set up in front of the stage in Times Square. If you get 9pm, and you don’t make it to the table to request change, go to the MDR assigned at the earliest time.
  5. The welcome page you are handed on boarding will have a location stated to address your dining issues. Otherwise you go to your dining room at your assigned time and join the long line of those who didn’t go earlier. EM
  6. They will be available in the app. EM
  7. I have not done a B2B cruise from Australia, but in other countries you get an In Transit/continuing cruiser pass to show at the entrance so you can bypass checkin and go directly to security. EM
  8. This thread is about Venezia…the ship you will have on the west coast is the Firenze. She doesn’t start sailing for Carnival until late April. EM
  9. The short answer is no. Are you boarding in a Schengen country? Are your other ports a,so Schengen? You will have gone through immigration when you flew in, chances are you won’t do it again until you fly home. EM
  10. Have you done your status match? There is no guarantee that they will match you to Diamond. There is no ‘should’ about it. It so easy as it was when they first started the program. If you can’t be more specific about your problems, we can’t help you. EM
  11. My account doesn’t show any indication that I participated in a Power Up presentation. It was the first time I have been sent an invitation. EM
  12. A walk down memory lane. I went back to the first page of this thread to review the start, and found so many posters who were quite active when I first joined, but have disappeared. I believe some have passed on, but I wonder what happened to the others…. EM
  13. I’m not really qualified to answer this, it I’ll make a stab at it anyway. i won’t address the drinks because i drink very little, because I don’t enjoy it If budget is a concern, you will get more for your buck on MSC. I have not sailed Seascape, but I did spend ten days on Seashore in Dec., and did a Live from. Yesterday, or maybe the day before I posted the daily programs for the Seashore cruise. Someone was asking for the programs for Seashore. Might still be on the first page so it should give you an idea of what will be available on Seascape. I haven’t sailed an Edge class ship, our bargain cruise was cancelled by Covid 36 hours before sail away in 2020. But I believe I have 14 other cruises on Celebrity. MSC ships are definitely more glitzy, Celebrity more subdued. My experience is there is more of a party atmosphere on MSC, especially on the short 3/4 day cruises. But on longer cruises with a larger percentage of guests from outside North America, they are more refined. I can’t tell where you are from, but since you sailed Euribia, I thought perhaps you are in Europe. See if you can find the thread with the Seashore programs, check those out. Go to the Celebrity board here and look for a thread reporting on a cruise on an Edge class ship and see if they posted programs. EM
  14. I’m not sure you are using the same definition of web checkin. I have always been able to fill in the web checkin as soon as I book. However, you cannot access your docs, boarding pass, luggage tags, etc., until 20 days before sailing. Although sometimes they have sent me a link at 30 days. EM
  15. Seashore is larger than Freedom (110,000 v. 170,000). Mardi Gras is bigger at 180,000. EM
  16. They don’t leave Colon and return to Colon. They are usually entering the canal the next day so will have to exit the port and through the breakwater to then enter the larger breakwater into Limon Bay. EM
  17. Just tell them all your shirts are alike. Or my other reply would be ‘It’s my favorite and I wear it as often as I can.’
  18. It might be a good idea, but if you have sole custody, I wouldn’t think it necessary. Maybe a copy of the court order giving you sole custody. EM
  19. Programs from 7 day. Raise Dec. 10-16. sorry about the one that is blurry for Ocean Cay
  20. What in particular are you looking for in the planner? EM
  21. I believe all pools on MSC are 2 meters deep except for the kids pool area. On Seashore the Infinity pool is shallow, but it is adults only. EM
