  1. That says you have the Classic Beverage package. If you want the premium package you just have to pay the upgrade price. All passengers in the cabin have to upgrade now I believe.
  2. I don't believe this package is available to those in the lower suites. Probably RS and above.
  3. @DebInAntigua That doesn't sound right at all. When you changed to the new ship/sail date I'm pretty sure you should have been charged the Taxes/Fees/Port Charges for the new sailing at the time. I confirmed this on 2 reservations I currently have booked that I moved from different sailings. Edit: And yes I suspect when you get on the ship they will know nothing about it! On the other hand when I reprice an existing sailing the taxes/fees are never changed and remain the same as when I did the original booking, only the cruise fare/promo is adjusted.
  4. No you receive the points for the originally booked category.
  5. There are no guests allowed in Blu even for a fee.
  6. It may not be required by the cruise line but you should probably have some power granted by the guardian for you to be able to approve any medical treatment which might be required in case of emergency.
  7. They deal with the included items with a charge and then a credit. It can take 10 days to 2 weeks for these things to be credited correctly. If you just booked. Don't worry about it for 2 weeks. If it's still a problem then call.
  8. It shouldn't be this hard!! Inexperienced TA and Celebrity agent. TA should have known this and resolved without ever getting back to you until it was done.
  9. As I said before I had checked in for April 17 Connie. The email I posted was received on March 6.
  10. I think that priority for getting off the ship. You go to a specified place and CC Concierge will get you on the next available tender. I think the sign in the photo above is for getting the tender back to the ship. Remember on some sailings 1/2 the ship is Elite.
  11. I suspect they have the wrong sailing tagged as the TA for Apex. Of course it will take them weeks to fix it! We know they have an email notification system which can send emails targeted to any sailing within moments notice. They use for delayed sailings and other important last minute updates. They could certainly use that here to explain the incorrect automated email.
  12. See post #15 for a cruise ship that does exactly the same.
  13. I agree that on ships where the galley's aren't co-located it is unreasonable to expect waiters to run to the other galley for MDR items. On the other hand the every day items have always been available in Blu (used to be printed on the Blu menu) and those limited ingredients should be stocked there and be able to be prepared in the Blu galley.
  14. Interesting that @Jim_Iainand @Arizona Wildcat are on the same sailing and evidently got completely different emails. Hopefully not as widespread as initially thought.
  15. Hopefully March as we leave for the Infinity in 2 weeks.
  16. @Arizona Wildcat I'm on the 4/17 Constellation TA. I have received this same email about 5 times. It matches the requirements on the website. The website about 8 weeks ago was also wrong and it took them over 2 weeks to correct!
  17. If your looking to reach out to them just call 1-877-Retreat.
  18. There is an episode of Mighty Ships on the Roald Amundsen in Antarctica. The ship can operate (including propulsion) for about and hour. There was a bay they could enter providing they were running on battery. https://www.mynewsdesk.com/hurtigruten/pressreleases/historic-images-first-ever-cruise-ship-to-sail-on-battery-power-2917570
  19. What part of the email is not correct? Here is what I received. I do think the whole 2 days thing could have been less convoluted but I don't see anything incorrect here.
  20. If your booking is with Celebrity and not a TA there is an automated phone system that will send you an invoice on demand. Existing Reservations 1-888-751-7804
  21. OP specifically said TA was reporting it was Celebrity charging the $200. The charge would make sense if it is a NRD. If you truly have a refundable deposit just remind the TA of that and there should be no fee involved to cancel, change ship or change sail date provide you are before final payment.

  23. Your best bet will be to used the MoveUp process. While onboard upgrades during the restart at reduced capacities were not uncommon they were prior to Covid. Now that they are sailing close to capacity and with the current belt tightening by Celebrity they are doing everything to maintain pricing which would include not giving upgrades away.
  24. Yes both price and OBC associated with your original cruise fare (considered promotion) would be replaced with the current price/OBC. Any OBC from the TA would could also be adjusted since the TA is going to receive less commission from the reduced price.
  25. We'll be joining you on your second leg back to BA and will also be going to Iguazu for 2 days and back to BA for 1 more.
