  1. I can see why you would think that. A hotel does it all the time. No, on a cruise ship.
  2. I guess there is a certain satisfaction knowing where your tag is residing, even if not where you can touch it. A tag doesn't prevent anything.
  3. I know for a fact, the stores report large purchases to the CBP.
  4. They close one door at around 9:10 and usually don't allow anyone else inside. If you are already inside, you can still use the buffet. I've never stayed long enough to see when they close the buffet and suggest everyone leave.
  5. Ran my CPAP on a Travel Power Adapter on Jewel for 6 weeks. The power brick on the CPAP accepts 220 or 110. Just made life easier charging our cell phones. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078M32R41/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  6. What am I missing here? Priority boarding is after check-in. Priority boarding is only used when passengers are waiting in the terminal, after check-in, for the ship to allow boarding.
  7. Yes, only suites were allowed in the Concierge Club on Jewel. Too many Pinnacles.
  8. Last month, on Jewel in the concierge club, we were charged for one Pinnacle voucher drink every night. I questioned the bartender, he said it was for "tracking purposes". It showed up as a $.00 charge on my seapass. Same as a voucher drink. I didn't bother to pursue it with the concierge.
  9. The way things are going only suites will be allowed in the Concierge Club. Different issue... If D+ and/or Pinnacles are allowed into the club, and they are not in a suite, their drinks will be charged to the vouchers. POS terminals have started to appear in the clubs to facilitate the charging.
  10. That's true. The prices are always higher mostly because of the fees and profit that RCI makes on the transaction. Are you saying you don't want the additional protections you get with a RCI excursion?
  11. RCI doesn't run tours, they are an agent. Again, insurance requirements.
  12. Crew shortage. Had the same problems on Jewel. Same issues in MDR.
  13. Tell them use want to use your D drinks (8) for the cabin. Some bartenders know how to to do this, so it's hit or miss.
  14. Haven't seen it since covid, but there was always a sign at guest services on day one, to the effect, there are no upgrades, the ship is full.
  15. Radiance class ships usually schedule 45 minute shows at 7:15 and 9:15, with adult shows around 9:30.
  16. This is a restriction of the tour operators. RCI doesn't run tours, they are the agent. Insurance.
  17. C&A discounts have been buried by RCI rules. They made a comeback before, so maybe...
  18. I don't remember DirecTV beling part of what's on a RCI ship. It's ESPN and a contract with the NFL.
