  1. I was not trying to minimize your question. I'm just a jaded Radiance class cruiser. (257 nights) As I posted we spent 36 days on Jewel this summer 7/14 to 8/19. That's what we got. Different performers, yes, but in the same mold. As someone else expanded on the RCI singers and dancers; City of Dreams and Tango. Both of which we has seen 4-5 times in the last 4 years. Don't forget the Centrum, Schooner, Pit Stop, and Safari Club. Non-stop trivia.
  2. I agree, too many D+. It will be rare that D+ get into any Concierge Club on any ship.
  3. Not when we have sailed over the past year. Leo was a great concierge on Anthem. They have strict guidelines for numbers (D+, Pinnacles) allowed into the Concierge Club on all ships. That's how they make gratuities. If as you say, they are lazy, they are cutting their own income.
  4. And that's exactly what I told you. I just spent 36 days on Jewel. Not sure what you are looking for. No one can tell you with any certainty what you will see and when, except in general terms. I take a different view, surprise me.
  5. Why?? Jewel has an assortment of comedians, jugulars, some RCI singers, and RCI singers and dancers. Plus, love and marriage.
  6. Visa and MC are different. BTW I've disputed charges on my AMEX and never had to wait.
  7. RCI had Thursday night football on Anthem last week.
  8. For future reference, you don't need the AT&T package if you have Voom. If you went over your data, you were not using the ship's WiFi. Cellphone in Airplane Mode and WiFi calling.
  9. Your credit card bank won't file a dispute on a pending charge. Before you dispute a charge you must attempt to contact the merchant.
  10. D+ access to the Concierge Club on Jewel is doubtful. Depends on the number of Pinnacles. We were on Jewel for 6 weeks July-August. Because of the numbers, Pinnacles and D+ were not allowed in the Concierge Club, but were set up in the Viking Crown. I wish you luck. Concierge Clubs on A Radiance class ship are the best.
  11. Today was delayed by at least an hour due to 'terminal congestion'. We were in a suite and didn't leave the garage until 9AM.
  12. No Broadway shows on Radiance. You'll get RCI Singers and Dancers, various comedians, and magicians. Love and Marriage. Various events in the Centrum.
  13. That's the new normal for D, D+, and Pinnacles on Radiance Class.
  14. Same experience. Guest services often had limited $1 bills. Staff needs to color -up.

  16. The Concierge Club on Radiance class ships is subject to the number of Pinnacles and D+ on that sailing. Most sailings Pinnacles have been excluded, D+ will never see the inside of the Club. IMHO. Sad, because I think it's the best club on RCI.
  17. We were on the same cruise, it was a great turn-a-round for three legs. Not having to leave the ship was great. The security guard kept the card of the passenger in front of us. Seeing that, I never let go of the card and showed him it was going into my passport. He reluctantly agreed. Amsterdam was great.
  18. No longer. In fact RCI wants to take your old card away from you so you don't confuse them. Promising they will return it. They don't.
  19. They did TRY to get you to make Windjammer dinner reservations last year. And actually Windjammer was closed for dinner for a short time due to Covid and staffing shortages? None of it worked and RCI gave up.
