  1. There are sometimes cruises available last minute at very low prices. If an inside cabin is $499 for a 10 day cruise, that would be the same price as the standby. And, you could pick your cabin and be guaranteed to sail.
  2. Unbelievable. The HAL website still has it listed as a Southern Caribbean sailing. But, a travel agency has it listed as an Eastern itinerary. Wouldn't you think that the cruise line would want to have accurate information on their website?
  3. Oops. Just realized that Rotterdam is the only ship in port that day. Still, you should probably be okay. There is almost always room on the top deck of the parking garage.
  4. There are many times that 5 or 6 ships are in port at the same time. I wouldn't think this would be any different and you should probably be able to park. And, as you say, those same ships will be disembarking passengers so their spots will be available.
  5. There is a small dance floor at one end of Billboard.
  6. It is available with the nonrefundable fare, advantage fare and HIA. Maybe it can't be combined with the private fare.
  7. Since it is in the penalty phase, you are not entitled to anything. However, sometimes they will work with you. But, you have to go through your travel agent.
  8. Are you sure? Could it be a mistake? The HAL website and a travel agency are showing that as a 9 day cruise that is available for booking.
  9. Are you parking at the port in Fort Lauderdale or a parking lot outside? I understand what Roy is saying about getting through security without an actual ship departure from Port Everglades.
  10. My understanding is that it is refundable if you cancel the entire cruise before the penalty period and booked with a refundable deposit.
  11. Well, if the Neptune Suite doesn't work out, at least you'll have the CO benefits including the tote bag!
  12. It must be a glitch in the system. What else is new?
  13. I don't think cancellation of Club Orange is allowed unless you cancel the cruise. I also don't think CO had anything to do with the paid upgrade. It would have been offered at the same price regardless. I agree with the strategy of trying to get a Neptune Suite upgrade. At that point your CO fee would be refunded. Keep checking. You never know when one will become available. Good luck.
  14. The padlock is for Internet Explorer which I am still using. I can't find a way to delete cookies by pushing the padlock.
  15. Wouldn't it be great if New Orleans was added to some regular itineraries.
  16. How does it work with a special glass for the beverage machine? I can't image carrying a glass around all the time.
  17. I can't believe you really got it back. Great news.
  18. I know you do the facial recognition but you don't have to fill out forms or answer questions or go through the customs booths. So, no need for Global Entry.
  19. No because nobody really has to go through customs. You just leave.
  20. I vote for VS 8188 but you better hurry before the offer is gone.
  21. I would take the upgrade offer. $300 pp for a verandah sounds like a good deal. The verandah will be bigger than an inside. I don't think there is much chance you would get automatically upgraded to this category. If you do decide to upgrade, have a deck plan available because they usually let you pick your cabin.
  22. I would question this revised itinerary. The navigator app often has false information. It would be highly unlikely that they would change the itinerary back to it's previous ports.
