  1. Well it is always washed with other passengers but that is a Wow! Have had at least dozen items come back faded a couple shades, 3-4 with pin holes. But not to be used for nice clothing so is what it is
  2. 3 Military Discounts on Cruises last yr. At least 20 my Cruises in last 10yrs found Military Discounts on Royal. Ships Sailing Full less likely get Discounts, on older smaller Ships more likely. Most time they are offered closer to Cruise though have got few over 1yr out
  3. As said nothing new, have seen some excursions have had age and even weight limits for years.
  4. Clearing Bridge wont take too long, rebuild will.
  5. In 2022 I had 3 Cruises loose a day, no prorate or OBC, but at least we had option to cancel
  6. Samba is still available for me to Book my next 2 Radiance Cruise starting next week April 4-22, though knowing Royal it could be gone.
  7. Agree, more then once Labadee had 3 Ships. Also there was talk while back that Coco Cay would at some point have 3 Ships on some days
  8. Though Royal TA's at times return early as late August
  9. "Unlike some other bridge designs, steel-truss bridges are prone to catastrophic failures, and officials have documented more than 500 of them in the United States alone in the past decade. The main reason: they're one continuous structure, with each segment depending on the others. Still, experts say there was no way any bridge would have survived the Dali's impact"
  10. That's ok, Ships will still be that when you return. Been Cruising since late 80's had take break after 9/11 for 10yrs for multiple Deployments. Since I Retired been making up for lost time
  11. Jewels doing longer Galveston sailings next winter, I'm on 4 Cruises doing 9 and 10 niters. Was very pleased with the Rates, when I Booked they were cheaper then Serenade out of Tampa doing 6 & 8 Niters this Fall/Winter
  12. Yup, was Lucky myself with $1500 Cruise reduction just last week
  13. Have no idea now but at one time same address was a requirement to add your Spouse or Partner. But this was like maybe 15yrs ago.
  14. True, Pre-CV Royal Ships averaged 108% Capacity, now 116%. Ships are Full! I remember Room Attendants came in 8-10 times a day, every time you left the Cabin. Back then they really worked hard, at nite turned 2 Couches into Double Bed, in am took apart and bedding replaced every day. All that for them earning $1.25 Per Person Per Day. Waiter made same, Asst Waiter .50 cents PPPD
  15. Thats too bad, been to Labadee many times in last 36yrs never an insect issue. Sea Urchins, yes. Though nature happens. Where I'm at last year tons of Bunnies, this yr Coyotes everywhere chasing the bunnies. Came within 30yards one in my subdivision at 2 in the afternoon on Friday
  16. Agree, also seen on multiple Cruises where waiting til morning couldnt always get earliest times. I was B2B so didnt matter as I was already on the Ship for 2nd or 3rd leg anyway.
  17. I would say no. Normally its easier step down age Groups then up, but here you'd have an 18yr old Adult with Teens young as 14 and I'd doubt it being allowed.
  18. Yes Royal had Major IT issue yesterday, 300 Sailings were not showing for hrs
  19. When they put up to 3-4 Ships at a time in Tampa defiantly could have done it.
  20. About one half Royals sailings are missing at moment. Usually just an IT issue
  21. At least 3rd time I can remember Royal stop their Ships here in last 35yrs. 100 yrs of issues in Haiti, even 30 yrs had my US Army Buddys fly into here. Have Hope also, Labadee was my very first Cruise Port stop back in the 80's, but then there is reality
  22. Yup, I'm one, The last time I got off in Nassau the Straw Market was burning down, 23yrs ago and few days before 9/11. On Coco Cay, 22 yrs ago though do like people watch from my Aft Cabin, all the Sunburned masses returning. Last Sept was so Hot, Humid and no breeze many were heading back onboard before Noon. The last 2hrs before Ships leave Trams are packed! For some looks like be faster walk back the wait for ride
  23. Though was Land Travel at a Caribbean Resort friend of mine was flying home on 9/12/2001. 9/11 Happened, Airlines shutdown and he was stuck there for extra 12days before able get back. The Resort didnt charge him a penny for anything inc the Rooms for those extra Days. I got Lucky, off a Cruise taking a Redeye landing at 630am and getting home @8am on 9/11. Was me and my 3 Kids, 4, 6 & 10yrs old. After getting off the Ship and having a long day at Airport we almost stayed at Hotel and take Flight the next day.. Glad didn't as we would have been stuck in Florida
  24. True, even Pre-CV my longer 10+ nite Cruises on Radiance class were cheaper then Larger Ships doing Shorter Sailings.
