Hit and Miss. For a while seen multiple Cruises that swas lower for Refundable or even you choose Cabin then a Guarantee Cabin

Have 3 ID's on outside and one on inside each my Bags

Agree, happened to me multiple times. Once during the Day, another on a 5nite Bahama when on a Sea Day at 3am we are stopped with Ship rocking side to side and woke me up

C&A programs become too successful. Originally not many Diamonds 25yrs ago(Top Tier at time) they had CL access and even First on/off Ship(besides Wedding Parties). Though as Solo traveler with over 340 point discounts(+Military Disc) I save thousands every yr on Cabin prices

Yeah doing PC B4B on Serenade Oct 2022 and the Radiance PC B3B in 2023 all other Cruises after Canal but was looking at adding Cali Coastal and maybe Alaska legs pre-Canal

Agree. First Cruise was over July 4 in the 1980's, and this inc Labadee. Yes in Summer it's Hot as most us know. Use to take my young Kids young as 2 on Cruises usually in Aug, they have always been great Travelers as my Grand Daughters now are

Agree, as said my Grand Daughter wasn't allowed to at 11yrs old. Day or Nite. No biggie Grandpa was there pick her up if Mom/Dad were ashore or having "Date Nite"

I have, recent as April 2022 for my Grand Daughter. We had to pick her up and she was Kool with it

Also it's never been on all Cruises, not usually over Spring/Summer Vacation periods, Holidays etc. Then still have to pay Port Taxes for Kids. Also Cabins holding 3-4 passengers lot times are more expensive for passenger 1-2 then a Cabin holds only 2 Max. Most this for OP

Agree. OP if cost is too high just pay by the Drink rather then get 2 different Drink Packages

In 80-90s with Formal, Semi, etc, packing 2 Suits, Sport Coat, 4 Slacks, 6 Dress shirts and couple Dress Shoes I already was at 2 Suitcases or included a very Full Garment Bag... Been hooked on Cruises since day one and hate pay for extra Airfare to complete multiple Cruises. By time had 10 Cruises of 7 nites in 2001 started 9 & 10 niters, 4 cruises after those 12-13niters, 15th & 16th Cruises were 13 & 10 niter B2B & 2 yrs after/since only do B3B-B4B of 30+ nites. Until this yr had only completed a single Cruise of less the 10nites in last 20yrs. So yes I still take 2 Suitcases, not too much formal but not going ever wash in my sink, run out Clean Clothes or ever put dirty clothes back on after a shower. Wash & Fold helps.

Thanks, made me remember this: I always walk the Ship all Decks top to bottom couple times on Port Days while all are ashore. Always friendly would say hello to the few Room Attendants still working after Lunch as I stroll by. About 7yrs ago was on B4B so was known by many the Crew a few weeks in. Had a Attendant Call my room couple times, left a message if I wanted to meet him ashore on off day. Next day he knocked on my Cabin Door, this all even though he worked on opposite end of Ship and 3 Decks down... Reported it and I never saw him again

True, though I got to be good friends with a Head Waiter. He was on my Sailings on same Ship 3 yrs running, a dozen Cruises. He'd bring me down, or send someone to get me Steaks from Chops to my Table in MD.

Agree, and after multiple Cruises being told they needed to take a new picture at Terminal I just skip the at home Picture upload. Only adds maybe 20 seconds anyway

Yes, at end of each Cruise. Besides only happen once but possible Room Attendant for that Cabin could change for next Cruise

My Daughter had Sinus Infection on Jewel, was asked to stay in her Cabin for 24hrs and 2 CV Negative tests. They received a partial Refund for that. No complaints from her... Did notice that the Bank of Deck 3 Quarantine Cabins that are/were Blocked off with Wall/Door are available to Book in last releases(Serenade). So looks like Royal is ending the Dozens of "Covid Cabins"
