Sadly, no. He was THE best. He even did his own Late Night Adult Comedy show. Hysterical! Very interactive morning show. Different way of doing Love and Marriage. Just very entertaining.

Meh. No thanks. I like to see the ocean from a quiet space on a deck when I’m sailing. Much like Oasis class ships, it doesn’t look like there will be such spaces on Icon.

There is shopping at the port, but it is limited. You would have to take a taxi downtown to get to the better shopping.

Look up Celebrity Infinite Verandah. You can find some videos which will help you. I’ve never sailed in one, but it doesn’t seem like it would be good…I would think it would make the whole cabin hot…and eventually moldy…

Horrible! They are worse in my opinion than they used to be. We normally sail in Jr. Suite after sailing many years in balconies. We just treated ourselves to an Owner’s Suite on Allure, which was supposed to have “a luxury pillow top” mattress. It did not. My back has never felt worse.

Wow! Very sorry to hear all that. Our experience was the exact opposite. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Just sailed on Allure last month. We were in a suite and are Diamond. Bupkis for anything on the bow, sadly.

HUGE let down IMO. We sailed on Allure at the beginning of this month and it was the IDENTICAL menu as what was being served at the other buffets. The only difference was that someone handed us our plates and utensils…

I’d say 30+ years ago. Only because I started cruising just over 20 years ago and I’m all for getting rid of it! 😂

In my humble opinion, this right here is exactly why I think the dress codes (other than maybe no bathing suits…) need to be done away with. For folks who fly in, it adds coat to have to pack that much extra. Times have changed. What someone else wears to dinner doesn’t have that much of an impact on my enjoyment of the experience. If someone wants to dress up, they should. If someone doesn’t, they shouldn’t feel like they can’t experience the offerings because they can’t. I can go on and on about this, but I won’t. Have a great trip! 😊

The only time our doorbell was rung (that I know about) is when my husband opened the door. Otherwise, no other rings.

Full spectrum of dressiness. We had the UDP and ate in the specialty restaurants the whole week, so I can’t speak to the MDR. People showed up in tuxes and others showed up in shorts and tees. No one was turned away wearing shorts. So, I’d describe it as a free for all on Allure, too.

That’s one of my biggest fears to doing Royal Up. 😂
