  1. I'm pretty sure that the poster responded to your question by googling it, and immediately found this website: Roatan Taxi Rates — ROATAN
  2. No. Just no. The issue here is the distribution of the daily gratuities paid by every passenger. It's not a "bonus".
  3. I am glad that you see value in it. (what is your "decent price point"?) But I would say that you are the exception rather than the rule.
  4. It is not guaranteed seating. There is an area which Key people can sit in. When it is full, it's full.
  5. Yes. They all have access to the same reservation system on their computers. 🙂
  6. Carly is special. She only works in the winter. She told me a couple of months ago that she would NOT be doing Enchantment's transatlantic, nor would she be switching to another ship. She was going home, to tend to her farm, until next winter. 🙂
  7. You are pretty much describing My Time Dining in general. When you are taken to your table, the host at the podium enters your cabin number and the waiter's/table code. Your daily gratuities are assigned that way. The waitstaff live with it. (but I don't think it will exist anyway)
  8. It is up around $40 on most of my upcoming cruises. It is 'sold out' on some of my upcoming cruises. It is NOT for experienced cruisers. On that "other social media site", there are lots and lots and lots of newbies. They LOVE the idea of The Key. They snap it up in droves. When I gently try to list the benefits for them, they say YES YES YES, it's worth it to get all of those wonderful things! They think that "priority check in", "priority seating" and "priority disembarkation" are worth $100+ beyond the cost of internet. They are honestly ORGASMIC at the thought of getting all of these wonderful privileges.
  9. Personally, I don't believe that what he said will come to fruition. But what the maitre d' was describing is not what several of you assumed. It's not that people would be assigned to the "formal every night" dining room. It's that every night, anyone who wants to dress formally would be seated in that section THAT NIGHT with other people who wanted to dress formally THAT NIGHT. Then no other dining area would have formally dressed people, just that one section. You could ask to be seated there once, twice, three (etc) times during your cruise, or zero times. But I don't think it will happen.
  10. It's more random than that. For the three cruises that I have where reservations are available, they became available: 60 days 33 days 40 days
  11. Grand Suite and above have "suite perks", including access to the Concierge and to the Suite Lounge. In the Suite Lounge, there are free drinks for the 3 hour "happy hour" each evening. During happy hours there are hors d'oeuvres in the Lounge. There is breakfast in a specialty restaurant. (Chops on Independence, I believe, but it's been a while since I've been on her). Room service is free. (please tip😉 ) If you have any tender ports, the concierge will get you priority tendering. S/He will also escort you off the ship on disembarkation day. And unlike the peasants, you will still get cabin service twice a day.
  12. You sound so deeply unhappy and dissatisfied. That was the nicest way I could think of to respond to your complaints.
  13. I have often explained to people that I LOVE the slides and the flowrider and the zipline. Why? Because it keeps people far away from me/where I want to be. 😄
  14. You were in a Junior Suite. They still get cabin service twice a day.
  15. That's not how it works anymore. (and is the source of all the complaints and misery lately) They no longer set aside a deck of the dining room for MTD. MTD doesn't start until an hour or more after first seating, because they put MTDers at tables as first seating diners leave. They just jigsaw puzzle them in.
  16. The coffee card is literally the only thing RC sells that is the same price on board and in your Cruise Planner. The price never blinks. I think that it has also always been this price, $31.
  17. Just to pile on: I have never experienced or witnessed any ticket being even LOOKED at. The person takes it, rips off their portion, and hands the other section back. End of transaction. 🙂
