  1. I personally consider the pre-paid the bare minimum. Things would need to be really bad for me to request that be changed. Anything extra is up to you. I normally will give the steward an extra $20, my waiter (when I have the same staff all cruise, as you will on Disney) an extra $20, and the assistant waiter $10. I personally don't believe the Maitre'D requires anything additional.
  2. You'll most likely be ok with a minivan.
  3. Please note that we are not allowed to name/mention travel agents on these boards.
  4. There's no such thing as free parking at any Boston hotel on it's own, let alone for a cruise and park.
  5. You need to join a group that is doing this. You can check your roll call, but Dis doesn't really have a huge presence on these Boards. Most DCL cruisers can be found on other sites.
  6. I don't recall there being a steamer in my stateroom, nor do I recall if there was one available for guest use.
  7. OK, need to get technical here. Both Apple and Google have a service to pop up notifications on your phone. In order to get a notification on your phone, the app/service/etc needs to be able to communicate with the notifier service to then send the notification to your phone. It's possible the ship had the ports these services use open for all devices.
  8. While the port may run the program, the cruiselines do need to participate in it. It requires them to do behind the scenes work. For example, Carnival doesn't participate. I don't know why, but it appears they couldn't agree on some of the behind the scenes stuff.
  9. PortValet is run by the port. The fact that your airfare is booked through NCL has nothing to do with airline participation.

    Yukon rail

Probably not. The round trip train doesn't "enter" Canada. It just stops, turns around, and heads back. Whereas the one way trains require a Canadian CBP agent to walk the train to check everyone's paperwork.
  11. I would cancel the transport and find your own thing. Yes, you will be expected to get on the bus and go straight to the airport. And since you have such a late flight, you won't even be able to check in yet.
  12. For any new subjects posted here on these forums that just contain a YT link, I report them as SPAM.
  13. The offer will state if it's for just you or for you and a companion.
  14. The problem is that early is so popular that they need more space for it, hence why MTD doesn't accept reservations before 6:30.
  15. If the doors open at 5:00, you are expected to be there by 5:15 the latest.
  16. Yes, Princess can do what they did. Alaska sailings are very popular. They want 4 people in a 4 person cabin, not 2.
  17. It will depend on the needs of the ship, maintenance, wind, etc. There is no way to predict which way a ship will dock. I know Mahogany Bay requires the ships to pull in aft first.
  18. You might be able to bring it on, but you won't be able to take it off the ship. With regards to Hawaii, that might be a strict no due to agriculture rules.
  19. Most golf carts are only for 4 people. Can you split into 2 groups?
  20. If there is a hot tub, it would be in the pay area.
