  1. I think there are ironing rooms on board, but not 100% sure.
  2. Go the first time. If you enjoy, go again. If not, cancel and go somewhere else.
  3. I've never been to Athens, but assuming this is an international flight you should be at the airport at 3 hours ahead of time. So unless you can get off the second the ship docks (unlikely) and can be at the airport in 20 minutes, I wouldn't even consider it.
  4. Instead of renting a car, why not take the train? The one way charges for the car rentals might be a fortune.
  5. How would you fill a plastic bottle? You are requested to only fill provided glasses and then transfer the contents to your bottle. Unless you bring a funnel, it will be a messy process.
  6. Yes, they will not let you book the excursion. Unfortunately, this restriction is usually set by the insurance companies.
  7. You might want to ask on the ports of call boards for your ports.
  8. Do they even sell partial cruise passes?
  9. You can try American Cruise Lines. Otherwise all the main lines must stop in Canada per the PVSA.
  10. Do you have DOU or DOU Everywhere? If just DOU, then you would both need to buy Cheers. If DOU Everywhere, you can just get Cheers for your wife, but you must wait until you are onboard.
  11. Sounds like something to discuss with a financial advisor.
  12. What did your travel insurance say?
  13. If you are assigned dinner at 5:00, you are expected to be there as close to 5:00 as possible.
  14. Chi-Bang and Cucina are still complimentary for the first visit. Additional visits incur a charge. Yes, those on set dining need to wait until after 7:30.
  15. It's not always possible to stock during the trip.
  16. Yes, I would expect the hospital to charge you, which in turn you file a claim with your travel insurance.
  17. My only concern is that you booked two GTY cabins. There is no guarantee that the cabins will be near each other (same deck, same side, etc.) You could end up on deck 10 port aft and deck 14 starboard front (deck numbers made up for example only). If having cabins near each other is important, you should book specific cabins.
  18. My guess is it depends on the bottle.....

    Cabin for 5?

Most lines do. However, you sometimes need to call for them. With that said, if not a suite, I would with kids that age, I would rethink the single cabin.
  20. The machines onboard will be limited. You will most likely not be able to get to Zoom. In addition, there will be no place to plug your headset in. Think basic websurfing/email on them. If you need to Zoom, bring a laptop or tablet and do so in the privacy of your cabin.
  21. At one point, the RT from Boston to Bermuda was one sea day down, and two back before the introduction of Bar Harbor. I would think Portland would make a good substitute, especially since I think USCIS would rather do their work there versus Boston.
  22. No microwaves available.
