April 2024 Glory cruises not available to book
lennythenose replied to reeinaz's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I’ve always found NOLA to be significantly cheaper than Galveston, but admittedly I haven’t really priced either in the last couple of years. Before when we were traveling with our kids we could get same itinerary same class for much less. Always during peak travel times (again…kids). Now I’m more open to longer trips and other ports for just the 2 of us and not tied to school schedules. -
That Other Live: Celebration b2b
lennythenose replied to jam19872016's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I remember reading JH say around Thanksgiving that Quest is back but it is up to each CD if they want to schedule it or not. -
That would be sooo frustrating. Just FYI when I’ve missed the event I was always able to go to Cherry On Top and they took my pledge there. I don’t know if they would have the shirts, etc though.

Yes, I created a new one with a different email than I use for my original account. I did use my husband’s name and cell number though so that’s probably the difference.
-
I did the same thing and use the website only. I went through the process today and set up a new account on the app and it worked just as you said. I enabled tracking until I finished the setup then deactivated. I was still able to access the rewards section.
-
Thanks everyone! I figured it out. A code is NOT required. It just says if you are a policyholder to use a code.
-
She did download the app but said it’s asking for a code 🤷🏼♀️.
-
I have a friend trying to sign up for Rewards. Not an Allstate customer. She says it is requiring a code to activate drivewise. It has been sooooo long since I did it I don’t remember. Anyone know how she gets a code and is it really necessary to activate drivewise?

Anyone know why Celebration is docking so early?
lennythenose replied to WhaleTailFlCruiser's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
John Heald posted earlier today that it would be arriving early because there is someone who needs medical attention. -
On the page that shall not be mentioned it was stated, “Per Corporate, Hard liquor is no longer available for pre-order on our Fun Shops. All existing sales will be honored and guests can still pre-order up to two bottles of wine for onboard delivery and consumption. Hard liquor may be purchased on board from our duty-free shop to be consumed at home once guests disembark the ship. John will be back responding to posts on Thursday, 10/27.”

@Jamman54 I apologize for asking a question I know you already answered but I have tried to find the answer snd can’t seem to find the post now. Can you explain again about your internet charges/refund? I am goimy in the Pride Transatlantic on Oct 30 and just got an email from Carnival saying the only internet option for purchase during the cruise will be the 24 hour plan. I am assuming we will be refunded for our precruise internet purchase.

My LONG Magic Story (to Bermuda!) - 10/5 - 10/10
lennythenose replied to mlshum's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
My son’s elementary school had a steel drum band starting in 3rd grade. It was soooo fun! His group was so into it that they created an alumni band when they moved to the middle school. They also had a “community” group for adults to join. Thank you for doing this review! I’m really enjoying it while waiting (impatiently) to leave next week for my TA on the Pride. -
Snacks allowed? Also, medication available on the boat?

Not sure about a pediatric dose, but amoxicillin is the one thing I have bought from the pharmacy in Cozumel. -

I too have carried our remaining car snacks on. Some purchased items that had been opened and some homemade cookies, etc. Never a problem. But I do think there would be a problem taking these items off at ports or even upon returning to home port. -

Safe travels. Looks like it could be a wet trip for you😕. -
I’m on this cruise also. Someone in our group on another site contacted Frankie. He said Felipe will be the CD. He will be onboard as this is his transition cruise but would mainly be doing behind the scenes stuff.

No we aren’t in a suite. We are Platinum so I was able to check in 2 days early and we have the earliest Arrival time.
-
I wondered if that might happen so I’ll keep checking. If not fixed by Monday I’ll contact my PVP.
-
I have completed my online checkin and selected the Arrival Time but the Boarding Zone is blank. I have checked with others on my cruise and some are saying they have a zone on their pass. Anyone have this trouble before?

Carnival Dream, LIVE 10/8/22-10/16/22
lennythenose replied to MeganGC1983's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Agreed! My only solo cruise I had YTD and didn’t care about the wait. But when my kids were younger that would have been stressful. No problem at home but too many other things they wanted to do on a cruise😂. -

I have no problem with adjusting/changing assigned dining times and honestly don’t have a strong preference as to exactly what the assigned time is. I understand meeting the preferences if the majority and that definitely seems to be trending to YTD. I just hope the keep some form if assigned dining. That is one of the main reasons we choose Carnival over certain other lines that don’t offer it. -
In August 2009 we took our sons (10 and 6) on their first cruise. DH and I had been on cruises before but never on Carnival. I found a GREAT deal on the Fantasy 5 day out of NOLA and decided to give it a try for a family vacation. Everyone was hooked!!! Now it’s hard to get them on any other trip if a cruise isn’t in the plans.
