A Rabbi isn’t necessary for Passover Seder either, but it’s nice to have someone to lead it.

I have a friend who is a Rabbi/Cantor. I will find out which cruise line, but he was hired to lead a Passover Seder on board. Could have been Azamara.

Does Summit have the Retreat deck?

I’ve been thinking about this and trying to decide how I’d feel about a fee being charged to all. What if room service cost $10-20? You could order anything you want, but there would be a delivery charge. Hmmm.

I agree with Phoenix about the nickel and dime-ing. We choose a suite in order to have a premium experience. There is a lot of competition for our cruise dollars and I will certainly look around rather than automatically booking another Celebrity cruise as I usually do while on board. I read on another thread that there is a charge for small bites at a bar on E class ships.

I’m trying to understand this change. If I go to Luminae for lunch and order crab cakes, there is no extra charge. If I have the same crab cakes delivered to my suite by the Butler (Retreat Host), it costs $11.00? Really?!

“Have spent seven weeks on Regent ships and won't go back. Cold and impersonal service. Perfect cruise line for those who "don't want to fraternize with the help." [Yes, someone did write that once here on the Azamara board.]” This was not our experience on Voyager last month. We had very friendly service and as for personal, when I had to quarantine due to C-19, our butler called several times a day to see if he could do anything for me. Also, the restaurant manager called daily to see what I felt like eating. The medical staff was warm and caring. Can’t wait to sail on Regent again!

You can go to the MDR if you wish. I wouldn’t, but ymmv.

It was Tea Forte at Cafe El Bacio on Silhouette. But they are specialty teas. Try the spa cafe for coffee and tea.
