  1. I was on the Pride TA a month ago and they provided 2 masks per cabin for a 14 day cruise. They were the surgical type mask with 2 ear loops. Staff were all wearing KN95’s but that’s not what they gave us. If you plan to wear a mask onboard, as I did, I would suggest bringing a supply of your own.
  2. Another thing to consider if you’re hoping to make a claim on travel insurance, is that there is a fairly limited timeframe within which you have to notify the insurance company of the condition. It’s something like 48 hours after diagnosis, but I could be wrong about the timeframe. It’s not open-ended though.
  3. They stopped it several years before covid. I made a request in 2017 and was told they are no longer allowing what they call “down line debarkation.”
  4. Your pictures are absolutely spectacular. Do you mind telling us what kind of camera and lens you’re using?
  5. What a mess at FCO Airport! I recently tested at BCN after getting off a TA cruise. I had an appointment I had made ahead of time, and I was at the testing center for less than 30 minutes start to finish, including receiving the negative result. Those with no appointments waited in a huge line where a friend of mine waited 2 hours and nearly missed her flight. Just an FYI for anyone flying home from BCN.
  6. Since he likes to watch videos and play games, the premium would be best. The value plan would be fine for surfing and email.
  7. When I was trying to track down my flight information a couple of months ago, I also had someone tell me it would update in 48 hours, and it didn’t. After that 48 hours is when I called and said I needed to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor seemed to take ownership of the problem and said she was emailing the department that actually does the ticketing, and asked me to be patient for another 24 hours. The ticketing was done within that 24 hour period. I will think long and hard before I use Fly2Fun again, although everything did turn out all right in the end.
  8. FYI, a friend of mine who was on the Pride TA took the $100 test at the pier after debarkation, and she never received her result by email. The people at the test site advised her to go ahead to the airport and the email would be sent. After waiting quite awhile, she went to the Barcelona airport testing site and got in line for people with no appointments. It took her about 2 hours to get through. Thankfully she made her flight. I would advise either a pre-booked appointment at BCN airport or a proctored test.
  9. I recently stayed at Best Western Premier Floridan Palace Hotel. It’s in downtown Tampa, no shuttle, but a nice place to stay and not too far from the cruise port. Uber cost about $25.00 from airport to hotel and less than $10 from hotel to cruise port.
  10. I was on the Pride TA, and passengers staying on B2B for the first European cruise weren’t tested.
  11. I was on the Pride TA. People who were continuing on B2B were not tested between the two cruises. They would not test passengers debarking in Barcelona and referred us to the airport or port side testing site after customs/immigration.
  12. Yes, most people would like to get their results before leaving the ship. However, the Pride does not offer end of cruise testing onboard. They recommend taking your test at the airport, of for a $100 “convenience fee” they arrange for you to be tested at the cruise port, after debarkation and customs/immigration. In other words, they don’t want to know or be responsible if you test positive at debarkation.
  13. Yes, that’s the document people are referring to. When your flights are finally sorted out, the airline and flight information will be on that document. I hope you get it worked out tomorrow. When I finally spoke with the supervisor, she said to give her 24 hours and sure enough, 24 hours later it was all taken care of.
