  1. Nebr.cruiser...agree with all of your statements.. spot on for us. We disembarked last Sunday after an epic voyage that included a visit to Iceland and Greenland. Why do we cruise? Here's a few pictures my wife took from our balcony...sailing through Prins Christian Sund, Greenland. * Can't see this from a bus.
  2. Most of the Oasis Class and Quantum Class ships on Royal Caribbean will have Wonderland. * Some ships, when in Asia...Wonderland becomes a high-end Chinese specialty restaurant.
  3. Luggages may also be delivered late, if they see or find something suspicious inside your lugggage. * Happened to us recently. It was almost 6pm when I called guest services about my luggage. They informed me that Security will be delivering it. Had no clue why. Security said they confiscated an "illegal elsctrical" device inside my luggage. Dumbfounded, I thought...what could it be? After they told me, my wife said: "Oh! I put that in your luggage...been bringing it for years". * An immersion heater, used to heat up small cups of water or otther liquids. Size: see attached photo...teaspoon used as reference. It was returned at the end of our cruise. * The night before disembarkation, Security instructed me to put it inside my luggage...while observing it...they told me to close the luggage, lock it...then hauled it away...they said: "You can pick up your luggage tomorrow in the terminal".
  4. Sorry if it has been addressed... * Passenger count? * Is Deck 5 MDR open for dinner? Thanks!
  5. Your eyes will be on the Chef and the food. * My eyes, (what's left of it)...will always be on my wife.
  6. Usually...every once in a while your cabin steward will forget. (Embarkation or turn-around day, is always tough for them.) If missing, just let them know. * There are 2 types of bathrobes (that I know of)...1 has the Royal Caribbean logo, and the other has the Crown & Anchor logo. The C&A appears to be a bit "plushier".
  7. Coralc...Oh my, that response from guest services was crazy...a perfect scenario to escalate it up to the GSM. * Hope they gave you some FCC's.
  8. Hi Fiona...just wanted to say "Hello"...Voyager...waiting to tender into Qaqortoq, Greenland...cold and foggy.
  9. Joeyancho...totally agree. Same as you, we were blown away when it first came out. The Voyager of the Seas is, and will always be sentimental to us...we were humbled by being one of the lucky guest at the Captain's Table...New Year's Eve...2015...Australia. We are currently onboard the Voyager, on our way to Greenland. Most probably booked this cruise for the itinerary. For comparison, I'd like to use another sister ship...the Navigator. * The Voyager looks like Royal Caribbean stopped short of finishing it's amplification. * Voyager - has no El Loco Fresh, Johnny Rockets, Playmakers, Bamboo Room, Lime & Coconut Bar, Hooked...the Navigator does. * Voyager has 1 slide...Navigator 2. * Better placement of the "golf links" on Deck 14 (front) on Navigator. On the Voyager, it's next to the flowrider.
  10. Voyager...Just had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza at Cafe Promenade...after a long day doing the Golden Circle (Reykjavik, Iceland) tour today...incredible. (The tour and pizza onboard)
  11. No worries. When applying for the Australian visa online, enter the name you have on your current passport. * Getting the Australian visa online, is perhaps one of the easiest (and cheapest), and quickest in the world. You will get an almost immediate response and receipt.
  12. I had the same problem with my filet...but I did ask for another one...and it was perfect. Did you ask for another filet?
  13. Very difficult and subjective, but we've enjoyed... -150 Central Park - Hooked - Izumi * If you get the UDP, you can have fun trying them all.
  14. Worth mentioning again...just last October, (not on a cruise, but on our way to cruise)...flew from Las Vegas to Houston Hobby...sitting in the seat directly in front of me was..."Mr. Charlie Hustle"...Pete Rose.
  15. Open on embarkation day on the Navigator are: - Windjammer Buffet - El Loco Fresh - Cafe Promenade Happy sailing!
  16. Wait another year...he's got a lifetime ahead of him. * Traveling in Asia as a minor, on his own, is not a good idea. You, as a parent, will regret it if something bad happens to him...just my humble opinion.
  17. First evening... We go to a bar, have a drink, wait for the queue to disappear, get a second drink to bring with us...no problems. * This is exactly what we did last night, our first night on the Voyager...no escort needed, walked straight to our table. (The Tavern Bar is just past the elevators and near the MDR, Deck 4, so we can see the queue.
  18. Voyager had brunch last week. * Everything off the menu. Genuinely wishing it was like the good old days when they had a nice spread in the center of Deck 3 MDR...sigh.
  19. Our fridge onboard the Voyager...currently overnighting in Oslo, Norway.
  20. We haven't been able to use all our vouchers during the day (port intensive)...the bartenders would encourage us to redeem the vouchers before calling it the night. * We gave most of the beers to our happy cabin steward.
  21. Be honest. * It's the same when your wife ask you... "Honey, do I look good in this dress?"
