I would add that the Alaska land tour clothing is super super super casual. You need less than you think you’d need. Just wear the same stuff. In every photo from our land tour, I am wearing the same “National Security Studies” gray fleece vest. It is ok.

LIVE - Beyond 1/29/2023 - Live Blog, Cat Blog, Vlog!

You can take drinks from anywhere, including the retreat lounge. Just be thoughtful and ask for a to-go glass. You can also ask to substitute wine for the sparkling wine in your cabin. The biggest risk in the retreat lounge with to-go is that will pour a double. -
We were in a Sky Suite on the Beyond and disembark asked on the 29th. The tub is not as high as those on the S and M class. It is wider which makes it harder to find a place to put your hand to balance. It has one grip bar on the far end of the tub. It needs more. We had to call our butler for a shower handle training session. Then top handle thing controls where the water comes out - the rain shower head, the hand held or the tub faucet. The bottom handle has a lever that underneath that moves from side to side to turn the water on and off. The handle turns to control the water temp.

We are currently on the Beyond I will try to remember to snap a picture when we go to breakfast in Luminae. There are some changes to the menu but my husband had hash browns yesterday with his omelet. They still have smoothies, the yogurt parfaits and most of the things they had before.

Had it last night on the Beyond and it was delicious.

I don’t think we’ve ever eaten in the buffet on Celebrity for dinner. On Viking, for the preponderance of the non speciality nights, we ate in the buffet. The restaurant, aka MDR is chaotic. The world cafe (buffet) always has sushi and the restaurant mains. It is awesome. On Oceania, we ate in the buffet on some nights. Quiet, subdued lighting, most of the dining room entrees were available and there was a cook to order grill.

Sounds like the Golden Lion on the Cunard Queen Mary 2.

I usually have a brief discussion with the Maitre’D and ask for a waiter that is really good at managing allergies. They always keep us with the same waiter. I would be as specific as possible. My husband has serious dairy allergies which we’ve learned to describe as allergies to uncooked milk, cheeses and ice cream. This eliminates the chaos with butter, baked goods, and bisques. And eggs which are dairy because you find them in the dairy section…

Where did all this OBC come from/how to get rid of it?
cruzzzinma replied to Cruisin4beaches's topic in Celebrity Cruises
If you give extra gratuities, you can use some of the OBC. The retreat concierge has the forms that you use to designate the people the grats go to. -
I don’t think that is correct so I would call and ask. I looked at our moveup offers and it says the same thing for RS and above. When you successfully bid on a moveup, you typically keep your original perks (in your case, none except which you purchased separately). You would get the amenities listed for the cabin as listed on the Celebrity website: Exclusive services and amenities Complimentary bottled water, soda, and beer stocked daily Unlimited lunch and dinner in all specialty restaurants Two complimentary bottles of premium spirits VIP canapés Complimentary laundry service (twice per cruise) Priority luggage delivery
