  1. We keep ours with our passports and also have pictures on our phones of both.
  2. We're in Eustis (central, not far from The Villages) and plan to board Mariner on October 3rd (Monday). A couple of summers ago, a nasty hurricane (can't remember name) knocked out our power for several days. A few homes were damaged by winds and lots of debris and limbs laying around. Our main concern is with the rocket launch on October 3rd, so we will head over to the Radisson next Sunday to avoid traffic jams. Hope everyone stays safe!
  3. Maybe we'll get our Royal UP approved after all!!!!! Hahahaha! Wishful thinking! Cheers!

  5. Very kind of you to share this information with us, and Tom and I are also sorry for your loss and sending our prayers your way. We also have chosen to have burial at sea for both of us when the time comes and planned to ask RCCL to help us. Again, thanks for sharing.
  6. We've been able to get drinks off of our "packages" on disembarkation day but have never tried using Diamond drinks, as I would not think that would be possible. Hmmm, maybe I'll try it next time out of curiosity. I can see one being able to use the Diamond drinks on turnaround day for a B2B but not if leaving the ship. Anxious to hear other experiences too.
  7. Yep, me too, almost all of the above, but haven't graduated to ankle length ... yet! Got them for good prices on Amazon! So easy to shop from home! Cheers!
  8. I am taking a scooter with us on our upcoming October cruise. RCCL wanted to know the width, length and height of the scooter, along with its weight with and without the driver. The form is on their web site for "special needs". Hope this helps! Here ya go if you need it: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
  9. You probably know this already but, if you booked your GF as living with you and occupying your ship cabin, she is entitled to your D+ status on board.😉 Cheers!
  10. Good point! Two bathrooms are a plus with teens! Forgot about that!
  11. Found this for you! Cheers! https://www.icruise.com/cabins/royal-caribbean-cruises-symphony-of-the-seas-cabin-9179.html and this:
  12. After we board Mariner this October, we're heading straight to Chops, hoping to use our BOGO discount for lunch! I'd much rather have a nice, quiet lunch on the usually hectic boarding day than deal with a crowded WJ buffet, so hoping they'll honor the BOGO for lunch and will plan to do that for every cruise in the future! Cheers friends!
  13. DH has ongoing issues with his C&A number. His last name includes Jr, which their IT system cannot recognize, or so they say. His account is finally fixed currently; however, I wonder what will happen when I go to book another cruise. Oh well, will just deal with it, if or when it happens again! Cheers!
  14. Is that a sale amount? Sales are usually buy one, get the 2nd for half off, which means 25% off each. Sometimes, you may see 30% off but not always. One used to be able to buy a package; then, if it goes on sale, you could cancel it and buy it again for the lesser amount; not sure if they still allow that but it should say it somewhere in the small print! LOL!
  15. We're cruising on Celebrity Solstice next year and will probably want to upgrade our drink package to premium, as we are elite members too. Just wondering if Celebrity has any good sales on packages, maybe around Black Friday to make it more beneficial to wait a little while? Or won't it make much difference? Currently, the sale is 9% off onboard price and Elite offers 15% off. Should I purchase now or later? Thanks for any advice!
  16. To surprise my DH, I purchased Chef's Table for our anniversary in October on Mariner. For 2 of us, I prepaid $159.98 + $28.78 gratuities = $188.76 total. Especially wanted the first night, as that is our anniversary, so made the reservation. We are on board the week before as well, so I intend to ask the DL concierge if we can get the BOGO for that night, since it will be on Day 1 of the cruise; then, maybe we can go to Chops for our freebie!🤞 Cheers!
  17. A good number to call, which I was referred to by a TA friend when our ship was changed, is the "redeployment number": 888-281-9344. Good luck!
  18. Take a look at the deck plans as well: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/jewel-of-the-seas/deck-plans/2144/02 Cheers!
  19. Yep, already added all of mine through February, 2024!! Cheers!!
  20. Central Florida, close to The Villages, Sun Lake estates in Grand Island next to Lake Yale, closest to Eustis.
  21. Most hotels are currently unavailable to book for September, 2023; however, the Outrigger on Waikiki Beach shows availability this far out. But, we will probably wait until we combine airfare and hotel, which should be around the end of October.
  22. Sorry for the late question and don't know if it has already been asked or answered. Did Johnny Rockets have complimentary breakfast during your cruise, since the other Oasis class ships do that? TIA and welcome home! Oh and did you happen to dine at Hooked; if so, how was it?
  23. Because we usually book our cruises 2 years in advance but sorry for the misunderstanding.
  24. We always converse with many of the crew, so I guess we're just friendly people. We speak and/or smile to all of them in the hallways going to and from our cabin, and they always reciprocate. We enjoy hearing about their homelands and often look at pictures of their family. Try it sometime.😉
