Kandy, I almost had the opposite problem. I had taken the credit on a 2024 cruise but after checking for potential frequent flyer or cash tickets realized that I would add the air back on. I was in no hurry until I started seeing the credits increase. Sure enough I was able to reverse the $2700 credit to get air and now the credit is $3600. Of course, I booked this long ago so fares have increased from what I paid. I was just afraid they were going to charge me the $3600 to add air back.

What is the rate to exchange Euros back into USD? A few years ago I was able to get Aussie dollars at ATM and then sell them back onboard at a profit.

If you complete within 72 hours of boarding just put down the ship. For those with longer pre-cruises they will need to complete twice.

GM is Michael; Regent's most experienced and capable GM. I just got off Navigator after 94 days; was everything perfect? NO WAY! But it was absolutely wonderful; so much so that we booked four more cruises whilst onboard. I will never speak negatively about any individual online; however, I had my favorites and not so favorites. As I spent about 12-14 hours a day with bar staff; I know them all very well; I guess that is why I never had an issue. Ella as Head Bartender is absolutely fantastic; probably best (or second best to Ksenia) that we have ever had. If you need a fantastic waiter in Compass Rose I highly recommend Francis. Nino as a new F&B Manager is fantastic; Archie his replacement as Dining Room Manger also fantastic. Luke outshines all Destination Managers including, in my opinion, Katje. There are some weak links but I think management knows this and is working on it. Unfortunately some of the best crew are being sent to Oceania at times. Marc

We have sailed over 500 nights on Regent and never felt obliged to provide additional gratuity nor have we ever left a tip. We have donated to crew welfare fund and on a few occasions provided non monetary small gifts.

Prime 7 never open for lunch except as overflow seating for La Veranda. La veranda, pool grill, or room service only options on sea days. Never an issue for us, we ate lunch in compass rose only four times in 94 days and enjoyed every one of our lunches. edited to add: YMMV. Caribbean may be totally different.

Islandchick, we are on day 94 of a 94 night cruise and I can tell you that Regent is as good as it ever was. As for cost it is all relative. I hope you are taking advantage of every discount available including onboard booking and SSS and TA discount of 10% or even more. We also find that booking our own flights help Regent experience is still fantastic. marc

One other question for those on Voyager; where are the isolation cabins? Deck 6 aft? Anyone sailing in 663 or 664? Does it feel like you are in staff quarters with the other Cat H cabins now staff cabins/ thanks, marc

About 70% of the cabins don’t have a butler and we have the same right to additional bookings.

Prime 7 is only reservation restaurant on navigator; you are correct you only get one reservation. If you want multiple best to make your reservation early in the cruise and then ask for second afterwards. If you don’t mind sharing table you can probably get many opportunities to eat in Prime 7.
