  1. I've been on with several groups and they have never been a problem. In fact, I have found them to be more enjoyable.
  2. I get it, but, this is true for anyone who is not prepared. As long as you have the boarding pass ready to go, regardless of the format it is in, you'll get through quickly and you won't have the people behind you cursing the day you were hatched.
  3. When they cancelled it, we had a B2B and chose to move to Oasis. It looks like only one leg of our B2B is back, or at least we have only received one notice so far. I imagine we'll just stay with Oasis if that's the case.

  7. I've also stayed in a couple of GS on this class. No issues. One was near the hot tubs, but not directly under.
  8. The chase lounge chairs are usually on the suite balconies. I don't think I have seen one on a non-suite balcony since the start-up, but I confess to not doing an exhaustive check. 😉
  9. FWIW, I booked a guarantee for one of our companions on an upcoming cruise. Did it at 650 days out. It's 85 days now and we still don't have a room assigned. That means this is after final payment. Just something to keep in mind.

  14. If it were better pizza I'd pay for it. What they have now is not very good, and certainly not worth an up-charge.

  16. If I had to bet, I'd suggest it's likely an e911 issue rather than Royal. I know that in one case where it wasn't working on a friend's device it was on mine. If it were Royal, I would expect it not to work on either.
  17. If anything goes wrong, you're screwed. The airport just can't handle change. I never book an early flight from SJU.
  18. My experience at Labadee has been that the lunch is not as nice as it was pre-covid. In fact the last time we were there I think they had the exact same offerings for suites with the exception that somebody was handing out plates and silverware.
  19. It shouldn't be. (I just did this, 125k points for 2.5k off) I only use the $2,500.00 off the cruise offer, and almost always use a TA. A couple things to keep in mind. The money off is not just a straight dollars off your cruise price. It doesn't include things like taxes and fees for example. It's also based on a price, balcony, for example. For me this means I have never gotten the full 2.5 k off. I'll usually get close, a recent redemption was $2,320.00 off. They have also changed when they apply the discount. It used to happen at once. (or within a short time frame) Now it happens one week before. Problem in my case TA wanted their money early. Had to call RCI, and they did apply the payment, but they were not willing to commit to doing so. Anyway, it was a pain I didn't need. I still think the cruise discount is the best value, but, I'm very close to ditching the card. There are better cards for rewards. I only use the card for RCI purchases and this effectively nets me 4 points per dollar.

  21. I'll take that bet. Not that there's anyway to settle it. If we did have complaint data though, I would bet their complaint volume is not different than any others, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were less.
  22. We had a B2B booked on Freedom in a 2BR GS. It was cancelled due to the ship going into drydock. We were offered basically the same dates, but on Oasis. There were no, that we could see, 2BR GS available though. Our TA was able to contact Royal and they had (we were told) rooms saved and we were able to get the rooms.
  23. Personally, I'll cash out (at the casino) if the left over OBC is a significant amount. I feel better about that, although I have never had an issue with the money being refunded and it's happened probably 20 times for me.
