  1. I thought you got a kicker when you booked on the ship. You don't?
  2. The book on board and welcome back are two promos in the same family. You get the higher value for booking on board and the lower value welcome back for booking when you get home.
  3. HIA is offered with most all, if not all fare codes. Bear in mind that the value of the shore excursion credit is likely to be less if you add HIA at the last minute.
  4. I'm pretty sure that the OP is not changing sailings, but that the itinerary changed. If they have Club Orange, they don't have to lose it in the refare. It's just complicated if there was a CO upgrade to the cabin.
  5. The over/under is 3 weeks after the program starts.
  6. Fixed dining table sizes go from 2-10, even numbers.
  7. The last time we upgraded, I purchased OBC to cover the difference in advance. When we could not upgrade with it bartender, I spoke to a beverage manager. I explained that we purchased OBC specifically to pay for the upgrade. If we couldn't upgrade, I'd be happy to have the OBC refunded to my card. Purchased OBC is fully refundable. The choice was basically, take my money or give it back. I won't be offended either way. The bar manager confirmed that we purchased enough to covet the upgrade cost. Then he took the money. I don't know if we would have had the same leverage without buying OBC. (We also had a bit of HAL OBC that was not refundable.)
  8. Can you select any times? When is your cruise?
  9. Calculate the value of the gratuities on your desired cruise. It's either $16 pp/day or $17.50 pp/day for a suite. Then, figure out how much OBC you would get from booking on board. All of the points made by a@LAFFNVEGAS apply as well.
  10. Not usually. If you have a PCC, ask them to run your booking past a pricing specialist. They handle complicated refaring situations like yours will be. If you did not use Club Orange for an upgrade, it's probably a simpler refaring. You don't speak to the pricing specialist. Your PCC does. If you used a TA, they can handle it for you
  11. Hopefully you booked a refundable deposit because your cruise is far out. If that's the case, cancel and rebook. You can move your deposit to the new booking. Now is a good time to book while the Black Friday sale is going on.
  12. Our specialty dining came online about 7 months prior to our sailing date.
  13. We've only been in Fort Lauderdale since 2008, but I've never seen the port run out of parking. Normal "load" is 5 or 6 ships. Full capacity is 8.

This is one of the oldest things. Caption 1 Hi What's up?
  15. Just did ours. We're in a suite in December and it was $17.50/pp/day. Our cruise in the Spring is $16/pp/day for a balcony.
  16. Mere words cannot describe my anticipation of your upcoming reports. Have a great trip!
  17. Good advice. The airlines that use SABRE all work the same way.
  18. It's "skinned" differently, but it's the same app. Could be different content, but the presentation layer is the same. What did you like better about the Seabourn version?
  19. The plus ➕ indicates connecting staterooms. If you zoom in, you can see the "break" between the two rooms. That's where the door is.
  20. Actually, on a Grand Voyage, the Signature Beverage Package is really reduced. Hat tip to someone who knows @richwmn
  21. I believe that the correct response is, "I stand corrected." May I recommend a medium bodied red? It would pair well with the crow.
  22. This is wrong on a couple of levels. You only pay for the difference - AND - the Elite package has had a $15 limit for a long time now. If you have the Signature Beverage Package ($11 limit) and you order a $12 glass of wine, you pay the $1 difference + 18% service charges, or $1.18. Maybe you are thinking of NCL?
  23. Casino rates and flash sale rates require payment within 24 hours, but it you did the Have It All fare, it's definitely 5 days. You can try to make test booking hold on the website and you'd see 5 days. I guess as long as the rate you got or the big box incentive is worth the cost of the tips, it's okay. The things that went away from the previous sale were the extra $100 for shore excursions and the $500 Europe airfare credit.
