I had a really annoying butler on Silver Moon.He didn't have enough to do because of low passenger count.
We wanted coffee delivered at 08.00 every morning but I guess 07.35 was near enough for him.
Coffee order cancelled and we got it from the Arts cafe ourselves.
I find that I can live well without a butler on a ship.
Threads back to normal Keith.
How very pre covid.
We all see what you are saying but there are many variations on a theme and it's only human to compare and talk about these things on a public forum.

I always have a rule when choosing a suite on any ship.
Always have a suite above you and one below you.
I have made a mistake only once.
Never choose a suite below an open deck.
I came aboard in Madeira for a tour of the Splendor.
I was very impressed with the quality of the ship and saw a selection of suite categories.
The Concierge class being particularly interesting.
It was also lovely to see George the Maitre d' who I know from his days with Silversea.
I generally sail with Seabourn but am looking for an alternative to break the year up a bit and Explora Journeys will also be on the radar.
Of course you cannot tell if a line is for you unless you take a trip which I am looking at for next year.
Happy Easter to all.
I know this might sound revolutionary but have you tried the services of an excellent travel agent.
You can't beat it.
Who waits on an expensive phone line to deal with a cruise line these days.😀
Yes I have seen it used on all of the ships many times but it has to be a calm day when anchored and safe enough to get some of the toys out.
The slightest swell and it does not happen.
