  1. Just so you know if I was thinking of the flight I would be safe and book a later one and when I got to the airport I would find out my original flight was delayed by 3 hours and I could have made it with no problem!
  2. Post on your Roll Call and see if anyone else is doing a private tour. 85% of the time a private tour will be better than anything the ship offers.
  3. When you have a problem with a web site the steps to take are a different browser, FireFox vs Chrome. Make sure you do not have any extensions running. If using a MAC try a PC, if you have a not major ISP try a different internet connection, I have TING which is a player in GB Fiber at multiple cities but not really large, there are some Honda sites that do not work and I had an issue with part of the Verizon pages. If all else fails contact the company or embassy sometimes it is on their end, they could be getting slammed with requests!
  4. They are not the best and you have no privacy. Might not be able to get zoom to work but hard to say. Pretty much any answer other than someone on the ship you are asking about will be speculation. Please provide the ship you are asking about if you want a useful answer.
  5. You can usually (depends on how handy you are and the ship and room probably) connect a tablet or phone to the HDMI port of the TV and watch movies/shows that you have downloaded from your favorite streaming service.
  6. No matter what answer you get the one that will count will either be the person when you go to check in, or an official at a port. So get the Visa and avoid any worries during your vacation.
  7. It also depends on your cruise, I have been on a lot of cruises where there were so many people higher than me that my status made no difference at all. Kind of like being in the third group to board a plane with 100 seats and the first 2 groups have 45 each!
  8. Use the Shotgun approach: Try contacting whatever local news station where you are that has a troubleshooter or problem solver etc. Contact them on Facebook, Instagram whatever social media you can. You can contact the Feds here If the problem is not resolved, contact the Federal Maritime Commission by email at complaints@fmc.gov or download, fill out, and mail or fax their cruise dispute services request form. Also record all of your calls after notifying them you are recording the call. Send an email and always state what you want to happen not that you are booked on 2 different flights, but you want to be put onto the same flights. Contact the BBB and state the have violated their own T&Cs. You need to call every day and record the call ask for names numbers and when to expect a call back. Always be polite you are just gathering information to provide to the TV station they would love it if you had 20 or so audio clips of calling them and being stonewalled or ignored. How do I contact NCL corporate office? Corporate Office Phone 305.436.4000. Call Corporate Office. 9. You had better check your cruises something was cancelled, ours was for October and was cancelled they gave us 10% off right after they raised the rates 10% of course!
  10. What they said, if you are going to Cruise you want/need to have a passport you never know what will happen or change.
  11. You might even find they went ahead and charged the card on file, of course this will only happen when you want to cancel. If you miss the final they will cancel, keep the deposit and have you rebook at a higher price!
  12. If you have 3 in a room you can probably skip the 3rd person and see how it comes out or try 2 policies.
  13. I have learned there is a lot the room steward can do for you as long as you ask.
  14. Yes pretty much any extension cord is OK surge protectors are not, so 2 prong cords should not be an issue.
  15. Anything with 2 prongs will be OK I bring these less than 10 bucks and use a multiple USB adapter at the end. Most stuff nowadays is not 3 prong unless you have a CPAP or something like that.
  16. The answers seem to be no I keep a couple of these and multiple USB adapters along with some 220V USB adapters like these I bring them along no matter the ship I run one extension to one side of the bed then the other over to the other side so we can charge all of our electronics. not very expensive and something we just keep in our bags, comes in handy for hotels and other places too.
  17. Yes we are the same I have a Samsung S23 and Wife has an iPhone so one of each goes into each bag, we can find out our bags made the plain and where they are most of the time it seems.
  18. The airtags i had in my bags helped us find our backs on the other side of the ship and about 14 rooms down from ours. I put them in the suitcase not the outside and also used a tile tracker. Usually the airtag as better for longer distances but the time did tell us the bag was on the plane and was a little better at finding the bags in the hallway. To me you are really missing out not putting a tracker in your bags for the cost it is well worth it.
  19. Are you counting per person I see a taxi is about 125.00 that would be for 2 people. The transfer is not bad but can be slow if you are first on.
  20. I would look at the airfare cost but prefer one way with a few extra days at start ende or both.
  21. Always it will depend on many factors, streaming to me means a streaming service like Netflix or Youtube. You might want to see if you can download the videos/audio ahead of time. There are extensions and plug is for Chrome and FireFox that allow all sorts of downloads. https://www.wired.com/story/10-browser-add-ons-extensions-download-videos-photos/ If it does not work for you then you might want to upgrade aboard the ship. This does not mean that site will work, if it is a free site you might want to reach out to someone that is on your ship now and have them try it. You could find them by the roll calls and see if anyone is posting or just port to the roll call. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/20-roll-calls/ I know if I was on a cruise I would be more than happy to answer ship specific questions and be able to provide a current answer.
  22. Just have someone that is back home do the check in 🙂 Much like checking in for a Southwest flight!
