  1. The in transit card is usually so you can avoid the mobs of new cruisers when you get back on if you chose to get off the ship for lunch or shopping. Just wave the card and bypass all the lines
  2. Guess the west coast is different. I can’t even imagine dinner before 7:30 or 8:00
  3. Wait and go to a Starbucks in port. Be advised that Starbucks in other countries don’t taste remotely like those in the states. LOL
  4. Likewise. We have sailed in full suites for the last 5 cruises and the CC dining area has silver/grey linens on all tables There are no tables set aside for suites
  5. We still prefer taking a transfer to SeaTac rather than flying from Vancouver. Can’t stand that airport
  6. This is correct If a CC passengers dines in the regular portion of the dining room they will not be offered anything over the regular menu. Non CC passengers are not allowed to dine in CC
  7. There is no such thing as a suite table if you are club class you are club class for dinner whether you are a club class mini or full suite
  8. I believe the walk reference was for suite passengers who get free specialty dining on embarkation night
  9. I am referring to those getting on the ship after land tours. Also these cruises are very port centric. Also up to 10% of passengers might be unvaccinated
  10. A lot of it has to do with land portions from Whittier Plus the fact that air travel has nothing to do with cruising.
  11. Yes restaurants in Norway are super super pricey. I call it the land of $25 burgers fries extra
  12. It was posted on the Princess website on June 3 and discussed on this site starting on June 4
  13. Never got any orders sheets on the Majestic last month. Stuff just showed up whenever
  14. This was announced a week ago. Not new news. It also advises except when eating or drinking so I am betting that it will be like our last cruise when we wore masks moving around the ship, in elevators and walking into bars, restaurants and casino but removed them when we sat at our table or slot machine. Was not a big deal and felt pretty safe
  15. Amazing. We have probably been to at least 10 MTP lunches and I have never worn a tie. Heck I don’t even bring a tie anymore
  16. I have never had anyone at Princess US be verbally abusive. One might want to know what question caused the issue
  17. No symptoms may not seem like an illness to you but a person with no symptoms spread the virus to my 98 year old mother
  18. I would not worry on most cruises they will pre book a number of tables and leave others open. We have always been able to get specialty restaurants after we boarded
  19. We ate there and would never again. Bad location right on the passenger walkway to look down on the piazza and over sauced duck
  20. And that is an actual bar if I remember right. Just outside the entrance the theater
  21. They have been on all the grand class ships I have sailed on. Stopped looking after I quit smoking. They are often right next to the casino
  22. Since you will arrive in Canada via the land route you will already have entered Canada prior to boating the ship I don’t see why you will have to do the 2nd one
  23. It is a formal night but that is usually for dining not parties. I haven’t packed my tux in many years and never will again
