  1. I don’t understand why the MDR would give you free soft drinks they don’t give me free refills of wine
  2. Both Alfredo’s and the one MDR open on embarkation day may be very crowded unless you have club class for the MDR. Even worse on Grand class ships with no pizzeria
  3. The syrup in the gun drink is so much cheaper than a can. The no cans rule in the drink package has been around for quite a while
  4. MDR one of them will be open. Pizzeria and IC. Also outside burger joint will be open. Lots of options
  5. Do you not tip wait people in restaurants? All they do is take an order and walk a plate or 2 across a room
  6. Make sure you have TSA Pre. That would save some time at security but I would be nervous on any flight that early
  7. All Panama Canal cruises that stop in Colombia require proof of vac or medically observed test for anyone over 18. That is due to that country’s rules
  8. I would never answer that call just let it go to voice mail
  9. Vaccinated passengers need proof of vaccination only. Unvaccinated need to have a medical observed test for any cruise stopping in Colombia
  10. In 4 cruises in 2022 I have never even asked to show proof of arrival time
  11. On an first cruise for any ship there will be things that are not quite ready and if it is a new style ship crew may take time to get used to it. I would pass
  12. Untrue. Although my CVP usually gets back to me in 24 hours. I have used the regular Princess number wen she was not available. In fact her voice mail message advises that you can call the regular number
  13. This happened pre Medallion also. We have always checked our folio every few days since 1990
  14. Plus will take care of alcohol and non alcohol drinks including water, your gratuities and unlimited WiFi. If you drink even a moderate amount it will pay off for you
  15. Yes you can show up and be seated although it may be a little wait. You are not forced to the buffet
  16. What is it about “on board credit” do people not get it is to be used on board. They do allow it to be used for excursions but that is it until you get on board
  17. Pretty much the same. If you are sent to covid isolation wing about the same the took all of our suitcases and even found things in drawers we had missed and had them sent to us
  18. And we didn’t sail till after 10 pm. So much for first night casino luck
  19. I don’t know about this particular cruise but people should be aware that on any cruise there is a chance masks could be required depending on size of any outbreak
  20. Sounds right which would be about 3-4 drinks a day. Maybe less if you use bottled waters or soft drinks
  21. No one HAS to make reservations for the MDR You can just show up when you want to eat but if it is during popular times you may have to wait.
  22. There is a link to the CruiseHealth tool on the Princess website before you log in. Just use the drop down at the top of the page and scroll down to the tool link and the enter you voyage number
  23. Crew bar has always been really inexpensive through all the years we have cruised.
  24. If they are actual holds they should show on your account as pending and can take weeks to fall off. Many companies do this sometimes for just a dollar or so. On all of my cruises the holds go on every 3-4 days
  25. We usually prefer the Grand class ships and are sailing the Emerald in March on a trans canal
