  1. For a seven day cruise it is almost 1000 dollars for cheers for two. You can buy a lot of drinks a la carte for that. You may find yourself tired of drinking coffee and energy drinks after a while.
  2. I think the shareholders and guestadmin emails all end up in the same place. I submitted mine to shareholders@carnival.com and the response came from guestadmin@carnival.com
  3. I think the Panorama departure is only for a dry dock across the Pacific in Sept. There are cruises out of LB through April 2025. I think the Firenze is more of a replacement for the Miracle. Looks like Radiance is doing more Hawaii type routes in the future.
  4. For flights it has now been pushed back yet again to May 7th, 2025. I do not believe the cruises ever need real ID to board unless the cruiselines decide to do it on their own.
  5. Yes. No mention in the email but in the sign up area it did mention it.
  6. You and me both. My AARP now expires in 2032 😁 I got an email from Capital One a couple days later saying my 23 dollars was on the way in 2-3 billing cycles. Better late than never!
  7. A fair amount of credit cards have a deal with AARP. For me I can do Bank of America with 8 dollars back. I also have the Quicksilver with CapitalOne that has 23 dollars back so I renewed for 5 years for 63 dollars and am getting back 23 making it 40 dollars or 8 per year. So be sure to check your various credit cards for deals. Allstate rewards looks like it is morphing into a shopping website.
  8. The real ID requirement has been pushed back yet again to May 7th, 2025.
  9. An exception would be if they are your minor children. They could board with you.
  10. I imagine there are quite a few " Christoph " s out here !
  11. No points needed with AARP and you can now buy 25 digital Carnival cards per month plus 5 other non Carnival gift cards for restaurants, home improvement, etc.
  12. Correct but when you factor in that Allstate lately hasn't had the ecards (or now any cards) you have to spend 1.75 per 100 dollar card or 5 dollars for a 500 card for shipping you can make up the approximately 12 dollars for a year of AARP really fast now. And the last cards Allstate had were now only 8 percent off for Carnival. I pay for entire cruises with gift cards so I bought the membership for 5 years for 64 dollars and then BofA had a deal for 8 dollars back so it was 56 dollars. Plus AARP has a lot of other restaurant gift cards etc to offer.
  13. I know what you mean. I really liked their 1000 dollar ecard. So much easier to give my big box travel agent fewer codes and pin numbers. I have 670k points and nowhere to use them.
  14. It is hard to harbor a guess at this point because Their rewards program appears to be rudderless at this time. Many have jumped ship for AARP which has none of these problems with stocking Carnival cards.
  15. I do this also on most of my bookings. For those who use a PVP I don't think they are allowed to make a booking with a TBA as the second name. Also I don't think this can be done with a travel agent. If you call with any questions about a booking that has a TBA they will tell you that a name must be added. I book cruises a couple years out sometimes and don't have a clue who I will drag along 😉
  16. Any of the best rates are non refundable deposit. The past guest rate has gone the way of the dodo.
  17. The only way to pull that off is book directly through Carnival dot com.
  18. Something has to give but for now HA is booking cruises showing 3 different ships at HMC along with Carnival showing the Magic there. First come first served? A duel amongst captains? Who knows 🤣
  19. If you go their website it indeed does appear they will be there on the 7th and the 9th. They have some quirkly scheduling where you can book either of two different legs of the cruise or an entire longer one. It shows the 7th at HMC then returns to Ft Lauderdale on the 8th, then back to HMC on the 9th.
  20. The way prices are going it seems to pay to book as early as possible now. I booked a cruise on the Pride in April 2022 for March of 2024 for $1621 for an extended balcony. The rate is now $2534 which is an increase of $913 dollars 🤢
  21. It is really lame that Carnival hasn't fixed this yet. They said on Heald's page it would be back soon two months ago. The question is, why did they remove the most fundamental thing about the booking? It was a nice summary in easy to download/read/print format. I complained via email to guest services etc and no replies at all.
  22. $1300 too buku for me for a room that is about 4 1/2 feet wider, but each to their own. You could probably book the kids their own interior room for the 1300 and then have two bathrooms.
  23. Looking at Holland America's website indeed it shows Rotterdam, Eurodam, and Amsterdam all at HMC on Dec 9th 2024.
  24. You need to set up your account with your VIFP number to see your cruises. So you will probably need a new email and then start from scratch with your number. Then you should be able to see all your cruises. It sounds like you are currently logging in under your husband's VIFP number and not yours.
  25. That would be wise to take the late one. Panorama been having propulsion issues lately. You need a margin off error because you are supposed to be at airport 2 hours before to be safe.
