  1. I just checked, no offers for either me or DH ☹️. I cleared out as much space on our lists twice and still no luck. I have a bunch of offers that are due to expire soon so I’ll have more space for new offers when the old ones fall off our lists. I did have an offer from HAL, but not looking to sail with them right now.
  2. We get our first crystal block on our next cruise. Allure in May. I’m excited! I’m hoping we get the older style too, but I’ll be happy with whatever we get.
  3. Since we aren’t able to join everyone on this amazing journey I’m looking forward to at least being able to follow along with you.Thank you in advance to everyone on some. Or all of this journey who will be contributing to this thread!
  4. Beautiful views! I have really enjoyed following along with you and your family. Thank you for taking the time to do this review and sharing your cruise with us.
  5. My two cruises already booked on Allure both are higher than what I paid for them but much to my surprise I just got a $357 price drop on our Wonder Sept 2024 cruise! Since I wasn’t expecting any kind of price drop at all I’m doing my price drop happy dance! Thank you for posting about your price drop. I might not have even checked because I was so sure I wouldn’t get anything if I hadn’t seen your post!
  6. I’m grateful for those beautiful pictures from Aruba! I really need to focus my cruise planning efforts more on cruises that go to the ABC Islands.
  7. I absolutely love that! I’m going to steal it and use it to motivate me when I start feeling too lazy and don’t want to do my planned workout. Those lazy moments don’t happen often, but when they do I’m sure repeating that one sentence will get me up and moving with a smile ever single time! Love the picture, too!
  8. @APDMOM, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you, your family, and everyone else here on this thread a very Happy Thanksgiving. 🍁🦃 I’m grateful that DH and I will be spending our day in the company of some very dear friends.
  9. I bought Hideaway beach for our September 2024 Wonder cruise. The $33.99 price was right at my cutoff price for what I was willing to pay. I’m one of the many who will be watching the reviews and if it turns out to be as loud as the current description promises I will definitely be cancelling.
  10. Thank you for your review! We will be on Allure again in April and are looking forward to it. We are not fans of the short itineraries, though, so we’re doing a B2B to get 7 days on the ship. There is so much we want to see and do on the mega ships that there simply is not enough time to see and do everything on our “must do” list, never mind our “ I’d kind of like to do” list. We don’t ever manage to complete our wish lists on the longer cruises either, but at least it doesn’t feel quite as hectic and we’re ok with slowing down a little bit and enjoy the journey. I also read about the dolphin trail in Clearwater. I knew there were some dolphin sculptures, but I had no idea that there were so many! I need to plan some day trips to the Clearwater area to do some exploring. 😎 🐬
  11. Somehow this doesn’t surprise me. DH and I would enjoy the activity but at that price it’s a hard no for us.
  12. It’s good to see them setting up reef balls in Labadee. We’ve only been there twice so far. I’m usually very good at finding marine life, but I haven’t had much luck in Labadee. I’d love to see some at Coco Cay as well. I’ve had better sightings there, but nowhere near as good as it was before all of the construction started. While the artist(s) did a beautiful job of painting these reef balls I really hope that they have installed most of them in the water where the fish can actually use them as habitat! 🐟🐡🐠. A map of their underwater locations would be helpful, too, so that the cruisers can find them. I did exactly the same thing! 🤣 I had to read the description a couple of times before I realized that they were not talking about the actual drunks I frequently see hanging out all day in the pool, but instead offering the opportunity to dunk in the pool to cool off! 😂
  13. I came late to this story but I’m very happy for you that you were able to get your fourth person added! 😅
  14. It’s great to see you here on the RCCL board again APDMOM! I keep telling myself to go look for you on some of the other cruise line boards but haven’t managed to do that yet. After reading your steps per day goal, I am very impressed with your goal. I’m also very grateful for my surgically repaired legs that I’m still able to walk on, although I’m sure they would balk if I asked them to do 30,000 steps per day! 😱 I walked 15,000 on Friday at the end of what was already a busy week and my legs are still screaming at me two days later.
  15. Glad you got into Miami safely. Our Central FL news last night showed a lot of flooding in the Miami/FLL area. We’re just north of WDW and it is still raining here now. We do need the rain but enough already!
  16. I see it’s down to $26 for @mrobstadnow. Looks like my price has stayed at $34 for now on both cruises that stop there. Beach Club still at $124. Not a chance I’d be paying that! 😱 I think out date there on Wonder is September 9.
  17. That picture is too close to reality to be funny! 😱 I think they need a bigger island! @BecciBoo, check your prices on Hideaway Beach. I got it for our Wonder cruise next September yesterday for $33.98. It is also that same price on our Allure cruise next April. I’m not really that impressed with the descriptions of Hideaway Beach that I’ve seen so far. I think it sounds like it is going to be too noisy with the nonstop DJ and it looks like it is not open enough to the ocean for my personal taste. That said, for $33.98 pp I decided it was worth a try. If we don’t like it we’ll just move on. I really wish the Beach Club was a little less that it’s current price of $123.99. If it was I’d be going there.
  18. Thank you but no, we will not be signing up for that cruise! 😱😂 I hope all of the Swifties have a good time.
  19. I have food allergies and have always done traditional dining. I like having the same waitstaff taking care of me every night. I go over my dietary restrictions the first night and have never once had a problem getting a meal that is not only safe for me to eat, but enjoyable as well. If you go to the Windjammer or any other eating establishment find a staff member, preferably a chef or manager and explain your dietary restrictions to them. They should be able to guide you to foods that will be safe for you to eat.
  20. I already saw the compasses and show schedule on your blog. Thank you for posting them. I’ll be looking for your review. 😀
  21. @orville99, thank you very much for all of the great pictures from your transit today! You certainly did have a busy day. Hope your Chops dinner was good.
  22. Thank you for linking us to your blog post of the compasses and the show schedule. Our four day show schedule may be a little different because our itinerary is different from the usual Nassau, Coco Cay and sea day itinerary. We are going to Labadee (originally was Cozumel) and two sea days. I haven’t looked at all of the four day itineraries during different time periods so I don’t know if there are any other itineraries like ours so I have no idea how much difference that having a second sea day instead of a port day will make so far as our show schedule goes. I am very glad to see Blue Planet on the schedule! We have only sailed Allure once and it was right after the post pandemic restart. Blue Planet was not running then so I’m really looking forward to seeing it on our upcoming cruise.
  23. II’m glad to hear that you’ve finally made it home from Maine. That must have been quite the ambulance ride. I hope that your DH is able to be out of rehab and to join you at home soon. Thank you for keeping us posted.
