  1. We do the same when boarding in San Pedro!
  2. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Enjoy your cruise! 🙂
  3. Below are photos from the Majestic and our HDMI set-up. The hardest part is reaching the HDMI port on the back of the TV. You access the menu by pressing the button on the bottom of the TV while the TV is on a Live channel. The TV re-sets to Live TV mode upon turning it off.
  4. I believe there are 10 of them on the Enchanted. On our voyage, the Cabanas were never sold out.
  5. As far as the Cabanas in the Sanctuary, you booked them on the ship as soon as you board. This is done in-person at the Sanctuary. They are $220 per day. Below are photos from the Enchanted this past November.
  6. We always travel with one in my shaving kit. We have never had an issue bringing it onboard.
  7. Based on what we have heard from our friends onboard, the diesel fuel in the water is total BS! Fake news! As of a few days ago, the "Bell Box" (where Room Service preps all of their deliveries) was an empty space with wires hanging down from the ceiling. And, several of the restaurant venues were not anywhere near ready for patrons.
  8. Yes, they are still there and will remain for the 28th sailing (if it goess?).
  9. FWIW, we have two very good friends that have been onboard for the past month. Last week, they both advised that there was no way the ship would be ready to sail on the 18th. Why management waited this long to cancel is very interesting! 🤔
  10. The Island is our least favorite ship currently in the Princess fleet. As a daily Fitness Center user, I HATE where they placed the Fitness Center in the re-build! It feels like a dungeon with no windows. With that said, if the itinerary is a unique one we will sail on her again. We are currently booked on the March of 2026, 54-day, round-trip Los Angeles voyage. I'm sure we will have a great time!

  13. Maybe we should start a petition for John Padgett's removal? I think his time at Princess has come to an end!!!
  14. Yes, I just heard from someone onboard. The 18th cruise is officially canceled! PR disaster!!! 🤷‍♂️
  15. What date? What Ship? Have you looked under the Princess Roll Calls for your cruise?
  16. You do not need to wait until turn-around day. You can book days for the second cruise on the first day of your first cruise. We have done this many, many times.
  17. This happened a few years ago in San Pedro as we were boarding. An off-duty law enforcement officer "forgot" to leave his weapon in his car before boarding the ship as a passenger. He was allowed to store the weapon in his car and boarded.
  18. Have you been to BA before? It is a beautiful city with amazing European influenced architecture. They must have taken you through the "wrong-side" of the city.
  19. On our recent TA on the Enchanted this past Nov/Dec, we dined at Sabatini's twice. We had great dinners and service. The menu is the same fleet wide. As far as the Crown Grill being booked-up on the app, call the "Dine Line" as soon as you board as they always leave space for onboard bookings.
  20. Good to hear! We still have not downloaded the new app. Since our next cruise is not until April, we are going to wait until the old app is taken off-line. 🙂
  21. We have seen this a few times when the Sanctuary Cabanas were not sold out. They moved loungers from the Cabanas to create more regular bookings.

  23. FWIW, the correct name for these cabins is "Reserve Collection" mini-suite. It was (and still is) confusing when Princess changed the name from "Club Class."
  24. I recently heard the same from a very reliable source. 🤔
  25. This will cause some to scratch their heads! 🤣 Google it!
