  1. If it is untrue I’d love to know how they fixed the issue. I’ll check for myself in November.
  2. Don’t know about using the Hotspot option as your cell needs to be on airplane mode to use ship’s internet.
  3. The ships all use Starlink. Not having a personal account I don’t know their cost or equipment requirements.
  4. As a person who quit 30+ years ago I have to say that in retrospect it was a pretty vile habit. Everything smelled like smoke. Really glad I quit. You just have to have the mindset to change. So much profound evidence that it will be harmful and now the cost. It’s over $8 a pack now. With regard to smoking on ships…I really wish it was banned from all area inside the ship. On the Rotterdam smoke from the casino drifts down the stairs into the music venue. This makes the area unusable for lots of passengers by subjecting them to secondhand smoke.
  5. Deck 7, in a Neptune Suite and near the lounge.
  6. I’ve just never seen a case, and I’m sure someone will cite one, where HAL has left boarding passengers on the pier when the lines air and transfers were used. Don’t borrow trouble. Use your worrying for important things like “did I pack my toothpaste?”
  7. If you booked air and transfers with HAL, they will wait for you. Same rules as if you’re on a ship’s excursion that runs late. They will wait.
  8. Yes. No visa needed for US passport holders.
  9. Didn’t have one on our Rotterdam cruise last November.
  10. Why would you need a hot tub on Half Moon Cay?
  11. Have used a CPAP for years and always use tap water. Never had a problem. I’m amused with those who swear by distilled water. More power to you.
  12. SA7034 has both a tub and a roll in shower. Sounds like that the NS for you.
  13. Really don’t think they are going to move a top paying guest. I suggest spending your time worrying about something that really matters, like the weather.
  14. I brought 2 bottles of Champaign onboard. Detected during security process, completed the charge slip, but was never charged.
  15. Please name another line that has a priest, or any clergy, onboard.
  16. FaceTime worked great on Surf on our Rotterdam cruise in November.
  17. OBC is just that. It can’t be used until you are on the ship. To my knowledge there is no limit to the number of passes sold on any voyage, but hey…I could be wrong.
  18. We keep some chilled as well.last “special occasion ’‘ was on the afternoon of May 30.
  19. Wow Torquer if you can find Veuve Clocquot for $35 a bottle let me know where…I’ll take a case. Goes for over $70 a bottle at Costco.
  20. When you consider that most Neptune Suites are paying in the neighborhood of $1000 per day, I think a $20 bottle of bubbles is not out of line.
  21. A sparkling wine such as Chandon would be a vast improvement.
  22. Sparkling wine better described as effervescent drain opener. Exchange it for a bottle of drinkable wine ASAP with the lounge concierge. I think that if enough people would do this maybe, just maybe, management might notice and up the initial offering.
