I recently booked a cruise thru a very large warehouse chain. The agent read the terms and conditions. It took him about 10 minutes. When he was finished he asked I had any questions. I said yes. Can you repeat that. 🙄😱 One of the things read was that they do not participate in the move up program. If they don’t other large TAs may also be doing the same. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I have seen people in front of me trying to beat the system and being directed to a holding area. I showed up at my assigned 11:30 and there were a lot of people standing around in that holding area. I have also read on this board about people that showed up early and then complaining about not being able to board and having to stand outside in the elements. It is up to you. Even if you don’t use the gym there are showers available. 🤗 There is soap, shampoo, towels and etc. there are also sinks if you want to do wet shaving after. I have used the area a few times when my wife was using the bathroom in the cabin and we were in a rush. i would put on a bathing suit, t shirt and walk there from the cabin with shower togs. Made it easier than having to contend with a lot of clothing. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I send out clothing that I am comfortable with if they get ruined. Basically anything with elastic will usually get ruined by destroying the elastic. This is mostly socks and underwear that aren’t high cost items. Depending on the fabric some stuff will come back like it was in a wrinkle machine that put permanent wrinkles in it. If you have any knitted type clothing the laundry tags they use may pull the threads when removing. I don’t like those tags as they irritate and scratch my skin. I have read where some passengers will pack clothing with the intention that after sending to the laundry and wearing again will leave on board. The attendants told me that Celebrity will wash and donate the clothing to the area they are sailing in. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The other items that get overlooked are the chair rails and salt, and pepper shakers. People will put their hands under the seat of chair to move it closer to the table and when leaving. I doubt they ever get wiped off. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Yes the decision to sell the rights to Peacock was months ago, but the teams were not known. Now that the teams and games are known the NFL schedules the times and days. Many NFL fans would subscribe to Peacock to watch any playoff game no matter who was playing. By selecting the game with the Chiefs it gives the possibility of many swifties subscribing just to see her cameo appearance. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You will keep whatever perks you had in your original booking but not those cabin amenities. If you move up to a suite you get those amenities plus the perks you had. In the Retreat lounge you will get complimentary drinks. If you are in the Retreat Deck area and order a drink you will be charged for it unless you have a drink package. Same in Luminae. You will be charged the rate for gratuities for the new category, or the difference if prepaid. You will get the CC points for the original category and not the new one. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Seen that ship being promoted on a morning TV show. I said to my wife it would be like 2 more ships in the port if we were on the Constellation that has a capacity of 2100. Embarkation and disembarkation would be a disaster. It is bad enough with 2000 to 3000 passengers. One feature was that there are adult areas next to the children areas. Good for families and I would guess that is what their target is. Hopefully it will keep them off of the Celebrity ships. NO THANKS. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Rumor is that they did that to hopefully to get all of the swiftie fans to sign up for Peacock just to see her cameo in the suite during the game. I will not be watching as I can’t justify paying for more services. We already are paying for ESPN, and Bally that shows many of the sports that use to be on the over the air networks. There is no HH on embarkation day or the days that have the Captains Reception, or Captain's Club party. So that could be 3 days of your cruise without the HH. They do serve the same HH drinks at those parties that last about 1 hour $100/day is a lot of drinking and if you have a lot of port days you may be drinking at those ports instead. That is because the prices are too high. Not worth it Do Equinox and book a cruise on an edge class ship in a lower category when on board or get a future cruise certificate and book one later. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

That area was also shown on the other Edge class ships. It wasn’t used because of the winds and other elements and eventually abandoned. There is a outside patio next to the Eden Cafe. You will see many die hards out there trying to eat with the wind blowing stuff off of their plates, and being baked by the sun. No thanks Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Book a cheaper cabin on the Beyond. We were on the Beyond in March. A very nice ship. Spent very little time in the Retreat areas. Too many other nice places on the ship. Luminae is very large dining room and the menu isn’t that great. We were on the Silhouette in Nov. We felt the cuts really affected the suite experience. Again didn’t spend much time in the retreat areas. Ordered many items off of the MDR menu because the selections weren’t that appealing in Luminae. The prices that are being charged for a suite isn’t worth it. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
