  1. No. Testing is for arrival in US by air. But you will need to be tested prior to boarding the ship.
  2. Why would your test be outdated if it's current enough to board the ship? Does the Bahamas have their own requirement for cruise ship passengers?
  3. Almost, but not quite. A very short walk.
  4. You're welcome. Last time we were there, we stayed at the Novotel Brussels Off Grand Place. Decent rooms at a fair price and close to rail station and (of course) the Grand Place and centre of the city.
  5. Take a train to Bruxelles-Central. It is in the heart of the city, just steps from the Grand Place. Easy to get around.
  6. Start googling.... https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise
  7. The test needs to be done before embarkation for cruises coming to Canada.
  8. I believe the 'Stratford Festival' being referred to is the one in Stratford, Ontario. Amazingly, not everything goes on in US and UK. https://www.stratfordfestival.ca/WhatsOn/ThePlays
  9. We're not talking about counting cruise (mission) days, the discussion is about timing of pre-embarkation tests. For Greece, the rule is one day before embarkation. So, for a cruise with embarkation on Wednesday, it's pretty clear (at least to me) that the test needs to be taken on Tuesday at the earliest. Extrapolating that line of thinking, three days would logically lead to Tuesday, Monday, Sunday for testing elsewhere in Europe. @VMax1700 you seem to be hopping back and forth over the fence.
  10. Yes, that seems to be the case. It's great that Carnival leaves the determination of 'fully recovered' up to the passenger; what could possibly go wrong?
  11. No. My interpretation is that the person is required to isolate after arrival in Canada. Getting from the arrival airport to the scene of isolation - in Canada - well, take a car or walk or bike I guess. I think the whole thing is very poorly worded.
  12. I guess what you mean is ... can a person board a flight in the US to come to Canada if you are covid positive? The answer is yes. Isolation requirements Every person who enters Canada must isolate themselves for 10 days without delay in accordance with the instructions below if they: know that they have COVID-19 or exhibit signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or have received a positive result for any type of COVID-19 test collected less than 10 days before the day on which they enter Canada or have reasonable grounds to suspect they have COVID-19 If required to isolate, do not use public transportation (such as aircraft, bus, train, subway, taxi or ride-sharing service) to get to your place of isolation. Isolation ends after the 10th day from the day on which you entered Canada.
  13. No you don't. You need a negative test taken no more than the day before you fly. So, if you fly on a Friday, a test anytime on Thursday or Friday is OK. There is no 24 hour requirement.
  14. Congratulations. Don't forget the Certificate of Recovery from your doctor and your vaccination record when you try to head off.
  15. When they launch space craft, the thing leaves at '0', not '1'. So, I'd go with 3, 2, 1, embark/depart. In this case.... Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
  16. Try this... https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/lhn-nhs/ns/georges/visit
  17. I've no experience with this but I'd be tempted to take a couple of US approved test kits along and try the proctored test the night before arriving in Spain (presumably Barcelona?). You can get the tests done at BCN but I think I'd rather know my status before disembarking and ending up at the airport. With luck, the US authorities will do away with the pre-arrival testing, at least for their own citizens, before you go. Here is some info on a 30€ Antigen test service at BCN: https://flycovidtestcenter.com/barcelona-t1/
  18. The test must be taken a maximum of 1 day before the first scheduled departure time in the flight itinerary (if a flight is at 1 pm on a Friday, travelers could board with a COVID-19 negative test that was taken any time on the prior Thursday). So, you have to take the rest in Spain; cannot do it on a connection in Canada.
  19. I'm betting the pre-embarkation testing requirement will be dropped at beginning of July.
  20. Yes, any time on Sunday (or Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday) is OK for a Wednesday sailing. Forget about the 72 hours business for Europe sailings (except Greece, rules are different).
