cruisin_cutie Posted September 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2006 I cant wait to hear the Captains droning voice over the intercom talking about speed, knots, and weather in the mornings!! To me, that means IM CRUISING!! :D
amynkeith Posted September 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2006 This is probably how people fall overboard, but I like to go out to a quiet spot on the deck after dinner, lean on the railing and just sit there and feel the breeze and listen to the ocean hitting the side of the ship. Soooo relaxing and there is nothing like it.
Pop Tart Posted September 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2006 This may sound so cliche, but my DH and I love to stand at the front of the ship for at least an hour when we head out to the ocean after every port. So Titanic-like.

Bette And Bill Posted September 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I enjoy standing at the front of the ship, or even on my balcony, with the sea breeze blowing and smelling the salt air and realize it is not a dream. We are really there.
Cptnkirky Posted September 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 13, 2006 Exploring the ship! I love to "run" around like kids and check everything out, even looking for the nooks and crannies and unmarked doors :D
Bettyboop66 Posted September 13, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 13, 2006 My DH and I love looking around the ship when we first board and there aren't many pasengers there yet. He likes looking for "secret passageways" they are on alot of the Celebrity ships, normal people would call them shortcuts.

Spikesgirl Posted September 14, 2006 #10 Share Posted September 14, 2006 The stupid little chime they sound (on Princess) when making an annoucement. Every once in awhile, we hear it on land and it give me goosebumps - as well as the urge to look for a railing. Charlie

LHARTWICK Posted September 15, 2006 #12 Share Posted September 15, 2006 My DH and I love to feel the ship moving, especially after an exhausting but wonderful day in port. We love to have the ship gently rock us to sleep. I told him he should come up with a way for our house to do that! We even like the rougher seas. (I know - we're weird!) drfun48 Posted September 16, 2006 #13 Share Posted September 16, 2006 I like being able to drink to excess and never being asked to drive the ship. All year long I always have to limit my partying for fear of DWI. At sea I can be rediculous. I like that twice a year.

DEElovesCruisin' Posted October 1, 2006 #16 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I like the cozy bathroom, just makes me feel like I'm on vacation. And I like it when the light comes on automatically when you open the door!:p
skyejaden Posted October 2, 2006 #17 Share Posted October 2, 2006 I most look forward to sea days and being able to really feel the ship moving. That and watching the wake take me farther and farther from land. :)
man_in_the_glass Posted October 2, 2006 #18 Share Posted October 2, 2006 My favorite is the first morning I can wake up early and order coffee from room service and then stand on my balcony drinking my coffee while leaning on the railing. Now THAT'S a feeling I have grown to love ! :D
