ms Amsterdam & ms Volendam in Juneau June 9, 2017

Friday brings two HAL ships to Juneau. Amsterdam will be at the AS dock (where we can actually see her:) ) from 0800-2200. Volendam will be coming in much later at 1300 (but leaving at the same time) to the CT dock.

Also in port are Disney Wonder at the AJ dock (0800-1700) and Seabourn Sojourn at the FKL dock (0800-2300).

After a few nice, warm days (at least for Juneau), Friday's weather calls for a 40% chance of rain in the morning and cloudy skies in the afternoon. High will only be 57F/14Cand a low of 49F/9C. Sunrise is 3:52 am and sunset at 9:59 pm.

Amsterdam is already anchored on the other side of Douglas Island. Should have an hour or less to travel in the morning.

Should be there to watch the sail in. Glad they finally have some good weather in Juneau.

One extra comment here. Unless there's been a very recent rotation, Sojourn's Captain is Tim Roberts, until recently one of the favorite Captains on the Prinsendam.

Sojourn is showing up where she was 27 minutes ago on my Marine Traffic map. She should arrive in Juneau any minute now but we won't know until she sails between raindrops!
