Maybe to fit SkyPad and slides perhaps getting rid of the Solarium?

 

They will never get rid of the Solarium. It's too much of a draw to kidless adults. If anything, you will see that area expand, like on their new ships.

Just saw the email from Royal with clickable links to the various new venues... also the rendering of the aft Sports Deck with SkyPad.

 

Hmmmm.... deck plans not updated. Wonder if perhaps Spa and/or gym being affected?

I also thought maybe that Bamboo Bar might be where the Lotus Lounge is?

It's funny (ok... Royal's IT? Not that funny) that the clickable links for Mariner also take you to Boleros, Oasis Class Solarium, and other areas which are obviously Oasis Class and not for the newly refurbed Mariner.
