We were in 1547 in Oct. The cabin was fine except for the night they decided to have Silent Disco in the Spa Cafe area! The noise started at 11 and it was like a herd of elephants above us. DH was not well and trying to sleep. This was impossible. DH got dressed and went up there to see what was going on as we had no idea. He said there must have been 100 people up there. We complained and they said they would end it in 45 mins instead of the usual hour, which they did. However, the furniture had to be dragged back into place and this went on till 1AM. Whoever made the decision to have Silent Disco on top of cabins was a complete idiot. We went to Guest Relations the next morning and they said someone would get back to us. Well, that happened the next day and all they said was "sorry". We were hoping they would promise not to use that location again. Talked to the people next door and they had to take sleeping pills to get to sleep that night.

We were in 1549 the cabin next to 1547 also in Oct. we heard the same thing. It sounded like a a herd of elephants running that were doing a wave in a stadium. It would sound like they were comming toward us with the noise gradually increasing, get very very loud, and then as if they were running away with the noise gradually decreasing and it just continued going in that cycle.

One morning my wife had a migraine and stayed in the cabin. For about 2 hours between 9 and 11 it sounded as if someone was constantly pounding a sledge hammer on the ceiling. I called Guest Services and they said they would investigate. About a hour later we got a call that they couldn’t find anything. They said that somone will come to our cabin to investigate. They came in, heard the noise and while there it stopped. Never k

new what was causing it. Her migraine finally ended and she left the cabin. That was the only morning that we were ever in the cabin during those hours so don’t know if it was every day.

Happy cruising 🌊🛳🇺🇸🌅

Cabin 1549 - does anyone else have an update on this cabin as to what they hear and if this is a major issue?

The description states 'partial obstructed view'. Is this because its on a slant on the hump or is there actually something in front of it like a lifeboat? If its only the support pole and the ladder seen in pix that is not a big deal, but those pixs are old.

The partial obstruction is likely due to the window washing gear that is stowed near the balcony. The banging may be the Aqua Spa Cafe breaking down from breakfast and setting up for lunch. The starboard side is quieter.
