When are photographers taking pictures - 7 night cruise

Is there a standard for when photographers are taking pictures on the ship during a 7 night cruise? Do they take pictures on the first night?

If needed: Freedom, Southern Caribbean, 7-night, 10/13 sailing

Formal night they are out in force and they also walk around the night time dining venues but that is a bit hit and miss

What are the prices for the pictures?

Thanks for the replies. Every night isn't accurate as if memory serves, they do not take pictures on the last night. But this could vary by ship, correct?

Where I've seen photographers:

1. In the MDRs during dinner

2. All over the place each evening (except the final one). Not sure about the first night.

3. Embarkation

4. At the gangway

Plenty of opportunities for your picture to be taken.

Nope, our first cruise with Royal is next April and after that I'll be a member of C&A and it will take us a while to get to Diamond.

Not that it's relevant to the question, but you get a free picture starting at Diamond. Pictures are 21.95 for the standard size 8*11.
