Laundry service

Very simple. Put in in the laundry bag, fill out the form, and give it to your room attendant/butler in the morning. It will be returned beautifully cleaned and pressed the next day by 5 pm. No limits by pieces or weight. The cost varies by piece and is fairly typical (perhaps a bit more expensive) than a big-city dry cleaner.

Agree with last poster. Regent charges by the piece and they do a great job. Alternatively, there are laundry room on almost all decks that have no charge and include detergent but not softener. Before we were in a high enough level in the Seven Seas Society to receive included laundry, we used the laundry room. They also have a couple of irons and ironing boards that work well.

Just wondering how the included laundry service works. How frequently

can you request laundry service and is there a limit either by weight or

pieces? Also, what is the normal length of time for our clean laundry to be returned.

Thank you

The "included" laundry (we're now Platinum) is terrific! You can request service as often as you are willing to itemize (each piece) the laundry form.; we usually send laundry out every 3 days or so, but send pressing every day.

We've taken tours of the bridge, the galley, and backstage on Regent but would really love a tour of the laundry. How do they keep everything straight and yet do beautiful work?

PS: This is a reason we routinely contribute to the Crew Fund - there are a lot of unseen personnel who make our cruises so enjoyable.

At present it is only the Regent Suite that includes free laundry and dry cleaning. The thread starter is most probably on a Mediterranean Cruise which is currently running a promotion of unlimited free laundry. Otherwise if you reach a very high loyalty level with Regent you receive unlimited free laundry and dry cleaning.
