Just got minimum bid accepted for suite upgrade on Gem

Earlier this year, we moved from a mini to a Haven penthouse on the Escape with a "poor" bid (wasn't minimum).

We are on the breakaway and in a mini suite our bid was 2300 and got a 2 family haven suite

At 90 days before sailing - it is Final Payment time

At 80 days before sailing - if invited you will receive an email about "Lets Get You Upgraded"

click on the LINK or go to your NCL.com view reservation account and the Upgrade invite should appear ---

THE BIG *"IF"* is if you are invited to bid - not all guests get the invitation.

From that 80 day mark to 2 days before sailing - if invited to bid on a Upgrade NCL will advise you if

your bid is accepted - If not no notification will issued and you keep the cabin perks and promos and stay put.

I am on the Breakaway in a couple of weeks.... Does anyone have an idea of what a "reasonable" bid is....? We are in a spa mini.... Would love the 2 bedroom family....

I had a $699 sailaway balcony with no solo supplement. That converted to a 9th floor BA balcony. Then I made the minimum acceptable bid for the suite upgrade and got it.
